Use the Tyro BYO App in conjunction with our other products for seamless business management:
 • Access same day settlement with the Tyro Bank Account¹
 • View transactional insights using the Tyro App and Tyro Portal
 • Add/delete users in the Tyro Portal
 • Supports Tyro Tap and Save², Tyro’s version of ‘least-cost routing’, otherwise known as ‘lowest-cost routing’, ‘low-cost routing’, ‘merchant routing’ or ‘smart routing’. It is when Tap & Go debit card transactions less than $1,000 are processed through the debit network that costs the least providing you with a lower acquiring cost.

¹ Same day settlements are only available where settlement funds are deposited into the Tyro Bank account. Applies to Tyro settled funds only – excludes funds settled directly by Afterpay, American Express, and JCB.
² Tyro does not guarantee any cost savings by opting in for Tap & Save. Savings on eligible transactions processed through the cheapest network vary for each business depending on their card mix, transaction volume and amount, industry, and pricing plan. Eligible transactions are contactless debit card transactions less than $1,000. Tap & Save is not available on Special Offer pricing which includes some flat fee simple pricing offers or where you surcharge on debit card transactions as cost savings may not be realised. ³ Dynamic Surcharging is available for Mastercard, Visa, eftpos, UnionPay, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club transactions. The Dynamic Surcharging feature is not available for eCommerce transactions or to customers on No Cost EFTPOS pricing. On my iPhone SE (2022) the Tyro BYO app lacks a zero button and a Delete button to clear entries.

Zoom is turned off and text size is minimised but the problem persists. 

Tyro tech support tried to help over the phone but couldn’t. They said they’d phone back with a solution but so far they haven’t and today is the day I need the app. With no zero button, I’ll charge 99c instead of $1.00.

Bring back cash.

P.S. To their credit, the Tyro support team have phoned me back to try to find a way to resolve the issue with the app on my iPhone SE.

Doesn’t always take payments. Customers loose confidence in the platform when you have to try charging there card multiple times. Just isn’t a good look

The app has become extremely unreliable in recent months on iPhone. It's keeps giving an error message saying 
PIN Entry Blocked
The PIN cannot be entered because the microphone is in use. Make sure that Voice Control is off and no apps are using the microphone.
I've turned everything off, restarted, re installed and spent hours on the phone with Tyro who are less than helpful trying to fix the issue. Tyro's solution ultimately was to sell me a Tyro Go which I refused to do. I gave up and took my business elsewhere.

### ****- "Much happier than initially with this App"
Following initial frustrations using the Tyro App, I’m glad to say that now, things seem to be working well. It would be nice if the ability to select Cheque, Savings or Credit on the customer’s card can be implemented though. Otherwise works well and settlement is fast and reliable.
