Rarely works
For the entire time I’ve had this app, it’s performance has been very unstable. Within the last year, it rarely works. AT&T incompetence in this are (as well as their poorly performing website) is remarkable insufficient.
Yes, U-verse is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

I wish I could give it nada stars. The app hasn’t been able to load for over a month. It just states syncing data. I deleted the app and reinstalled only to have it spin tirelessly trying to login with out ever completing the task.
Your prices keep skyrocketing way more than inflation. Do you offer any kind of discount for seniors on fixed incomes? I have been an ATT customer for 54 years and I’m afraid you finally pushed hard enough that I will be forced to leave and find another provider.
The U-verse app rarely works. The guide is very slow to load. My recordings haven’t loaded since April 8th. I even tried removing the app and loading again. Very frustrating!
The app is working better now except you can not schedule a recording within the app. This is a very significant feature of the app and it is now deactivated. Please fix!
Even with full wifi, it buffers, resets, sometimes fails to start a show. Regularly says unavailable. Location on, everything is perfect for it to operate. Even deleted and reinstalled, same issues. Very unhappy with this. Been a uverse customer for 7 years, and the app has never worked right. Then on to the wife’s complaints…
Sadly, you have pushed me over the edge. I am blind, and depend on this app to perform task such as viewing the program guide, scheduling programs to record, viewing what programs are scheduled to record, etc. I can no longer do that at all! I am unable to record anything via the app, and that is unacceptable! Since I am an able to see the screen, menus, etc., The only way I can record programs is to be present when they are on and tap the record button. That is of course not always possible! I am told many times that channels have no programming for the next two weeks, which is ridiculous! I am frequently told the mobile service is unavailable! As soon as I can watch everything on the DVR, I'm switching to Comcast as they can provide the accessibility I need. I am so disappointed and frustrated! You should also know, I am also considering walking away from AT&T completely. Currently, all services are through AT&T, but again that will end very soon. I have been beyond patient over the past year or so; I've reached out to various employees within AT&T, including Office of the President and the so-called Chief Accessibility Officer, and have been given the runaround. AT&T obviously cares nothing about customers who are blind and need accessible services, so I will switch to a company who does care.
I used to be able to manage my dvr recordings on the app. I checked to see what was recording today and noticed several items in my recorded section that I deleted via the TV dvr. I tried to delete on the app, they wouldn’t delete. I logged out of the app and tried to log back in and received an error message. The log in issue has happened before. I previously deleted the app from my phone bc it would not let me log in. I’m deleting this yet again since I cannot log in. Remove the app from the store if you cannot keep it updated or working.
Never know when it will work, or if it will stop working during a show. Used it be able to watch on my phone full screen, but now, if it’s working, only on the top third of the phone. Seriously, AT&T, you certainly can do better for your customers.
Makes me log in EVERY TIME I want to open app
