I can’t comprehend how an app with show-stopping critical issues like this one has even makes it to release. There are massive problems with its core functionality. I’ll say that again: this app’s issues are with its CORE FUNCTIONALITY. Huge fail from UA. I expect a lot better at the price we’re all paying for the hardware this app is essential for controlling.
I download app and doesnt work. I try to remove download again but all close
Cannot connect to pedal to manage. Only ever get message to restart pedal by unplugging. Done that a million times. Tried deleting the app and re downloading. Not much of an additional feature if it doesn’t work.
Terrible app, I know coding and this app is the worst I’ve seen. It’s kind of a rip off really because folks who buy a pedal from them are expecting the app to work since it allows to save presets and load custom algorithms. I’m returning my pedal for a refund.
Dream and Ruby were fine but when I tried Lion, the app keeps closing itself! I can’t even get in to any controls! Please give us more firmware updates!
I'd give a zero if I could. Expected better from UA! What a useless app. Refuses to connect ! Garbage
The app is not reliable for its connection to the pedal. The loading to switch effects in the app is slow, not appropriate to use for live environment.
Why no bpm control on the starlight? It’s mind boggling.

The app is fairly stable and mostly reliable but they’ve really dropped the ball in its execution of aiding the practical needs of guitar players. My major complaint about this app is that you can not see what the pedal settings actually are when you load a preset. So you have no idea how the knobs are set and why things sound the way they do. On the pedal itself there is no way to sweep the knobs and find out where they are stored. I was truly shocked by this as it doesn’t seem like much to ask for; other companies have had features like this for the last 10-20 years (SansAmp and Strymon to name a few). These settings are obviously stored in our preset files, so why not just let us visually see them. In the end, this app is basically a glorified preset loader where they also given you access to artist presets. So let’s stop pretending it’s better than it truly is please.
