When will it be good to fly your quadcopter? See the weather forecast, GPS satellites, solar activity (Kp), No-Fly Zones and flight restrictions, all in one convenient tool. The free version shows a limited number of hours of forecast. Become a subscriber for the full 7-day or 15-day hourly forecast and many other features. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally paid. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

The free version used to show you wind gusts up to 400 feet, now they’ve reduced it to 100 feet. You won’t be getting any money out of me

Good but much room for improvement

It’s a great app to check before I fly but can be frustrating to plan with. Sometimes it’s said I’m good to fly and yet it’s raining and shows the rain symbol on the app.. Secondly, it only shows you one location at a time which makes it a pain to go through your favourites. How about a map which has an overlay which shows up from red to green as to where is good to fly. And which allows you to scan through the available days depending on what plan you have. It would actually be far more helpful to scout locations

Great app

Well thought out, just what I need as a novice flyer who has to plan carefully within my abilities. I can ‘expand’ my parameters when I’ve pixked up some experience.

Seaplanes?

I’ve always loved and used this app. Now though where I live and all over the country has lots of DJI No-Fly Zones. Every one is claimed to be the area of a seaplane base. I can’t trust this info anymore. I’ll stick to the NOTAMS.

Bad subscription

So I clicked Show Max Wind Altitude and it said I need a subscription. So I bought a 1 year value. Go back to the setting and now it says thanks for subscribing but you need a Hobbyist subscription. So despite the fact it says you get 24 hour forecast with the value subscription. You don’t get the same features. I literally feel cheated and this was not made evident before purchase. So unless this gets fixed. I am going to unsubscribe and refund. Its not about cost but principle.

This app is a great help But not really sure of the wind setting it has to be at

Great concept, bad data.

The real-time precipitation forecast data is way off. It will be saying a 90% chance of precipitation happening right now with clear skies outside. They use ‘UAVForecast’ as a “hyper-local” forecast source, but there’s no option to change that to something you’ve heard of. Not impressed.

Rubbish

False data, look outside and it’s clearly pis*ing down but your app says OK TO FLY Pis*ing down last three days but yet still good to fly Just looking outside yourself will give you better data.

Used to be useful

Used to be of use (free version) as it gave a 24-hour forecast. It wasn’t accurate enough for me to want to pay for it quite frankly, but as another tool in the box it was worth having. Obviously not enough users were willing to subscribe so they now give just a few hours forecast without paying. Its value to me as a hobby flyer? I’d pay maybe a couple of quid a year, but no more. No chance I will pay what they ask!

Very good

I bought a little wind speed measuring device from Amazon which turned out to be rubbish. This app is brilliant for my little drone and I’ve subscribed to the hobby version. Really pleased with it
