Best ride sharing app for drivers

Every since I installed this update my uber driver app is taking unnecessary long time to load

There’s no profit for drivers here in Uganda.. high commission fees to uber yet low prices for riders.. we have high fuel prices that can’t match with the amount we get from uber Wear and tear is one’s “profit”

I don’t know what metrics are used to determine the final price of the ride but it sure as heck ain’t fair. It doesn’t consider things like traffic jam and wait time requested by riders when they are doing their errands e.g shopping. You can spend close to 2hrs on a trip and you are paid just over the minimum fare just because it’s what the estimate showed yet there are always other factors involved. And when feedback is given, none of it is ever considered. Infact in Uganda, the commission was increased from 25% to 27% yet the fares the riders pay was reduced so we get less than before and yet Uber takes more commission than it was taking before making the business totally not worth it.

There are issues regarding uploading and approving vehicle insurance 3rd party.

When a request pops,it drops when I try to accept. That I should use a different phone.

I don’t think you do enough background check in some countries, or you guys are asking the wrong people during the surveys,that’s if you even carry out any physical ones. For example in Uganda it’s very hard to make any profit with the hiked fuel prices…and Uber Driver only favors the rider with these so called promotions. Very disappointing service. We are barely breaking even. Check your service. Or at least come to ground and carry out physical surveys. I’m thinking of quitting driving for Uber coz it’s not favorable for the driver whatsoever. Unless it’s a long trip.

The fares are so low, you’ll add more mileage to your car for pennies. Running costs more than the income. Uber takes most of the money through commissions. Totally trash app. Not worth it!

Your app cannot accept payments that end with 50 which makes our accounts to be suspended, please work on that algorithm..
