Our Uber driver repeatedly missed turns (seemingly on purpose to increase the fare), drove dangerously — speeding, distracted by his phone, and even into oncoming traffic — and caused us to miss our bus, losing €66 in tickets. We reported this immediately to Uber, expecting at least a refund and fair treatment. Instead, support refused to take responsibility and denied our request, even though this was clearly the driver’s fault and an unsafe situation. This experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and costly. If Uber cannot ensure basic safety and accountability, I cannot recommend using this service.

Uber in DC is completely useless, the cab is never found in the given 5 minutes and finally when a driver is assigned they usually don’t arrive in time. It’s honestly a joke.

hi, when I ordered the Uber taxi, the system said they can not contact to my bank detils and offered that I can pay cash. I choosed payment in cash. The ride was very ok, I got home from the airport, I asked driver if I have to pay cash, he said “yes, in cash”. I paid, also the tip. Today I realised, that Uber has booked money for the same ride also from my bank account…
Uber is stealing my money. All “temporary holds” they have ever placed on my card as “security feature” and which are marked as being released one hour after being placed - ended up being charged from my card. Over 400 euros in total. Getting this money back has deemed a complete hell because their customer service is entirely AI masked as humans and it functions as answering machine giving entirely useless answers, so if you have an actual issue, you will not find help. To see this charges in the app go to: help>account>different payment issue. Look them up in your bank and make sure these holds have been actually released, which might not be the case. UBER IS STEALING YOUR MONEY - DO NOT USE YOUR CARD AS A PAYMENT METHOD!
Drivers are very friendly, they are available almost immediately. Cars are clean and comfortable. Safe and convinient. Easy to use.
