The app is completely free and aims to reduce CO₂ emissions, decrease travel costs, and strengthen connections among UdG members. How the app works: Sign-in: Users log in using their UdG credentials (e.g., “u0000000”) and institutional password. Search or publish trips: If looking for transportation, users can explore available trips by origin, destination, and schedule. If offering a ride, drivers can publish their trips with origin, destination, and optional intermediate stops. User interaction: In-app chat allows users to contact each other and organize trips collaboratively. Trip costs: The app calculates an approximate cost based on distance and estimated expenses per kilometer (fuel, tolls, etc.). There is no internal payment system; users agree on payment methods among themselves (cash, Bizum, etc.). The app’s price suggestions are purely indicative to encourage fair and sustainable cost-sharing. Safety and trust: Ratings and monitoring mechanisms foster trust between drivers and passengers. Users can cancel trips if necessary. Incidents (e.g., no-show passengers) can be reported to the UdG Go team via email (udggo@udg.edu ). Who can use the app: The app is intended for the University of Girona community: students, faculty, and administrative/technical staff. Benefits: Sustainability: Reduces carbon footprint through shared mobility. Cost savings: Makes travel to university more affordable. Community: Connects UdG members and encourages collaboration. Development and support: Developed by the UCSOP unit in collaboration with the SIGTE service at UdG. Contact for general inquiries: udggo@udg.edu Technical support: sigte@udg.edu Scope of use: Designed primarily for university-related trips (campus, teaching centers, libraries, etc.). Not recommended for trips outside the university context. ## UdGGo Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/70/ee/6f/70ee6f25-85b7-0361-be21-fdc265c53745/IOS_4.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/d2/76/19/d2761963-15fd-dfc3-e16f-d89bc6cf741b/IOS_2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/8c/c3/1b/8cc31ba9-a4d4-429b-8b6f-2d629f28389d/IOS_1.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/59/fb/d0/59fbd03b-bec4-c4f6-8012-d5895845e68e/IOS_3.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/3f/04/45/3f044568-4913-58d3-7cde-f8c794c8ab57/IOS_5.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/de/bb/31/debb3154-6832-ef77-f081-ffee453965e3/IOS_6.png/1242x2688.png) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
