UDisc Disc Golf

This app would be five stars if it had a couple key personalization features.It needs lists. It needs the ability to make lists of your favorite courses. I don’t want have to search for a course name or re-search for a course on a map every time I want to play it. I can go look at old score cards to quickly find something, but it’s not the same. It needs the ability to have a friends list. I think this could be better if it had a social media component where you could add friends and see their “public” rounds. Maybe allow them to set some rounds to private. This also needs the ability to block or hide courses and stores. I don’t want to see all the stores and courses whenever I open the map. I would love to block or hide the ones I don’t like. Other than that, I love it. Fantastic app otherwise. And regardless of missing features, worth the money.

U Disc is great to use and easy to get around. Connecting with your friends through the app and making it easy to find the coarse you’re looking for makes this app the best!

We love using the app to track games and I will likely switch to pro soon, I am just getting into the sport. It is so helpful when playing with others and I love the distance and shot tracking. My only issue with the app is basketing when you put is just short of the basket. When you mark the shot, your gps ping and your marker is in the way of being able to tap the basket to finish the hole. And you can’t zoom in far enough to be able to tap the basket quite often. At which point, you think, well I will just add a shot and select basket, at which point it asks you how far the shot was… it should just do the same as selecting the basket and not ask how far the shot was, which I don’t like picking a random distance. So I end up walking away from the basket and eventually I can just click it, but it shouldn’t be so hard.

Awesome app that helps navigate confusing courses and offers great information on new courses

Definitely a good app and seems to be the most used app for disc golf. Unfortunately they doubled the pro membership, I understand the need for development and needing the capital to do so but feel the 29.00 is quite a bit of a jump. Still a good app I just feel like since it’s the premier app used they have an excuse to jump the price by 2x. I will keep using it but wish the price was a little easier on the wallet.

A must have app for avid disc golfers.. This app is the best. Discover endless new courses with it.. So awesome.

I am brand new to this sport and have found this app to be very helpful. It has helped me find courses near me and then keeps me from getting lost while there 😂 My only problem is I can’t find a way to read the entire comment on course conditions. This may be my fault but I would still like to read the entire comment. I have played two times and I am slowly tapping in to the full potential of this app.

Double the price $30 is just too much.

Honestly, paying to see my previous rounds I think is garbage! I like the app but always wanting more money is making me dislike this app more and more!

As an app developer myself this is one of those apps where you easily appreciate all the detail and work they put into this thing. It’s obvious the devs are disc golfers themselves. It makes finding courses easy. One click to easily open address in Google Maps. The app makes navigating courses a breeze, never have to worry about relying on the course itself to direct you. Keeping score is easy and intuitive. The ability to add other UDisc users and keep score on the same card at the same time is chef’s kiss. Recording throws and putts isn’t the most intuitive, and I don’t have any good suggestions on how to fix it. Maybe a quick tutorial in a pop up would go a long way. Overall the app makes playing disc golf more enjoyable!
