Only just started using but seems good and I would have taken out the subscription but it only seems to allow you to do this through giving a credit card directly to be recharged and with no clear cancellation contact details. I’m not happy to give credit card with an open invitation to recharge, I presume they’re not doing it through Apple because of the charges but maybe could do through PayPal or something where I can be more in control.
Worked fine then they wrecked it with the update. Map doesn’t even load anymore. Seems like a money grab as I had to renew subscription despite my previous annual membership having several months to go. Very shady.
Accounts from old app didn’t transfer to new app. Dropped the ball
Since the update I can login but it has no record of my subscription to plus and is asking for me to pay again! There’s no way of contacting them!
Developer deleted current subscription/account without cancelling the payment for it — then tells people to create a new account for which the subscription price has doubled, while the app has only become more buggy, no thanks
Used it for almost a year, it was fantastic! Since the last update perhaps couple of weeks ago, in which it also started to be paid, it just doesn’t work, sometimes doesn’t even show the map. It’s a shame I wouldn’t mind to pay for what it was before, was absolutely brilliant!
v1 of this app was wonderful, and gave lots of relevant information quickly and easily. The new version is barely useable without a paid subscription.
Used to be a great way to find a spot but the developers got too greedy and wanted a new monetisation strategy. I paid via in app purchase every year but now deleting. Trash app. Restore the old version and give everyone their purchases back. Absolutely shambolic update.
The UX is horrendous in this new version, performance is so laggy and you have to pay to see anything useful. Sorry you have lost one loyal user.
Wth has happened to this app If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
