## UKTides Description
If you need tide heights, daylight times, tide direction and slack water periods across the UK, then you need this app.

It shows complete tide information for over 600 ports and 1000 tide stream locations around the UK.  It provides the latest UK Hydrographic Office tidal predictions for up to a year in the future.  Detailed 24 hour tide height predictions, astronomical data, tide tables, tidal stream directions and slack water times.  Simple, clear user interface.  Ideal for all sea activities, but built specifically to plan scuba diving tide details, slack water and daylight conditions for long term planning.  

It's been designed to be simple and quick to use, feature rich and fast.  I use it all the time for SCUBA dive and boat expedition planning.  I make a loss on it, but it's too useful to me to care!

For any date up to a year away, for hundreds of easy to locate points around the UK, I can see:
- tide heights, every 5 minutes for a 24 hour period
- tidal means for the location (LAT, MHWS, MLWN etc.)
- High and Low water times and heights
- whether its neaps or spring tides
- times for all phases of night and daylight
- traditional tide tables
- speed and direction of tide streams at nearby locations at 5 minute intervals
- periods of slack water

In addition, the app supports Night Shift for easy viewing in the dark, up to 10 favourite ports for quick access, easy screenshot sharing through all your media channels and it is supported by an extensive support website to get you started.  It also gracefully handles many of the more exotic UK tide locations which other apps fail on.

Paid my £3.99 and as yet all I get is that the app is unable to to get admiralty data or I have no internet access!!! Both these are unlikely as I’ve been trying for 3 days …looking for a route to get a refund!!!!!

Recommended by a fellow narrowboater as we use and support others to use tidal rivers. Failed to pick up data for me. I worked with Jim the developer on a beta version who spotted I was using the 12 not 24hr clock. He is altering the main version so it does not matter. 
Overall, excellent tidal information and quality support, all for less than the price of a coffee.

Downloaded this app yesterday, I’ve paid for apps before and regretted it but not this time, absolutely brilliant!
Tried numerous tide apps over the years hoping to find one that goes more than a week in advance but to no avail, until now…this goes one whole year!!!!
As for the developer, I emailed Jim with a couple of questions and in no time at all I had a reply!
