Ultimate Guitar: Chords & Tabs

I’ve been paying for the Premium version of this app for over a year now and it works fine, and the official tabs have been very useful. However, many times when I try to click on a menu or on a tab for a song that has always worked, there is just a blank screen, and reloading the app will not work. I can’t access my tabs that I pay for and I would like to see that fixed rather than use a different app.

Best music App out there. For me it's perfect. Certainly helped me add songs to my repertoire, I think I am on it pretty much daily. Easy to copy into a word document then onto my teleprompter. I would recommend this app to everyone.

For someone who just want to look at guitar tabs this app is awful, used the website for years and finally decided to try the app, bombarded with adds and constant prompts to give them money to upgrade to the pro version. After looking for a song, getting hit by an add, selecting my song I wanted to see tabs for get a prompt to upgrade to pro can’t see the tab go back to try a different tab that isn’t “pro” and get hit with another add. Deleted

All personal tabs were changed and you cannot edit a personal tab, you have to delete it start all over You have ruined the app, it takes massive time to fix my personal tabs I have sent two bug reports and have never heard from you

This app is pretty cool but let me break it down for you: 🩵 (An in-depth explanation of this app: guitar tabs and chords) 🩵 ⭐️What it is: An app for people to play guitar, with the given notes and strumming patterns. When you open the app, you come into sometimes an ad for premium and then when you click out of that, there is a search bar and some recommend songs to play. I always just type in the song I want to learn or click one of my recently played songs. You can search by artist, or just search a song directly. Once you click on a song, it brings you to a few different things to click on. 1. The premium version(s) of the song written which is apparently “better” 2. The other version(s) of the song that are not premium. You will also see that there are ratings, one to five stars, and the amount of ratings. I recommend clicking on the one with the most and highest ratings. Once you click on one of the options, It will take you to some chord names that are used in the song, the key it’s in, tuning, and the lyrics. Then you play! It’s pretty useful. There is also “shots”. Shots are up to one minute videos that people (and you can if you want!) make. They are sometimes very cringey but sometimes good!! You can do what you want with this info but there’s some other key things I would like to point out: 💕1. Premium is useful, but it gets super annoying if you don’t have it and don’t want to buy it. It is pretty expensive and only has a few uses, but the uses are pretty useful. I DO NOT have it so if you want, buy it and if you don’t, don’t. ☀️2. PREMIUM ADS ARE EVERYWHERE I WISH THEY WERENT BUT ITS SO ANNOYING!! 🪼3. It’s a pretty nice app. 🐚4. Not all guitar tabs have strumming patterns given. - ✨this is coming from a fourteen year old that dedicates pretty much her whole life to music (especially Taylor Swift!!), plays guitar for at least 7 hours a day, writes country songs every day, and never goes a day without listening to music✨ - 🌺I have never seen an app like this and I am glad I downloaded it. I do wish that ALL tabs had strumming patterns because it is useful, and I wish that there were more free things. It’s really cool tho, and very useful. I use it pretty much every time I learn a new song (every two days lol 😉)🌺 🌸Sorry for this very long review but yeahhh thanks for reading it bye!!! 😘

The app is amazing

They claim to allow you to try the app for free before subscribing, but then force you to subscribe before you can actually try it - complete scam!

Too much ads, I can’t try app out without ads pop up. Just pressing buttons gives you ads already!! Exploring is a hassle with all of these ads.. very bad app!

This app is horribly bugged and although I previously paid for the app before it was a paid service, it has now revoked my permissions and I can no longer use the app fully without paying further. This is absurd and music should not have a pay wall. I am disgusted.

After the last update app will not load on my iPhone 8 with 16.7.8. ios. Loads ok on Ipad
