I regret buying this.Thirty percent of the words I look up are not in this dictionary.Find something better.

Brazilian pronunciation

It is disappointing to say the least to discover that the speak function uses Brazilian pronunciation. This should be clearly stated as sone if us are learning European Portuguese.

Excellent dictionary

I particularly like being able to enter part of a verb & so get to the root. Then all the tenses are there fully conjugated.

Latest update has ruined what was a perfect app

Just as the title suggests. App was really good up until the latest update. The app is no longer cohesive, difficult to navigate round and is less user friendly. Next update should give users the choice to revert back to the precious format of the app. Until then, I'm only rating this app 1 star

Better functionality, homely look

First impressions weren't good - the Edwardian style font seems like a step backwards from the last version's crisp design. However, improvements in functionality outweigh this gripe. Typing in a verb in any tense will now show the infinitive root, and the verb declensions can be viewed as a list of tenses - new on the iPhone. In addition, the number converter is now an integral part of the main dictionary - just key in directly in the search bar. This upgrade is a case of function beating form - hands down.

Why oh why?

Quite shocked by the new look, thought it was a complete new app at first. It seems dumbed down compared to the last version. Really don't understand why the changes have been made.

This new update version

This dictionary was really functional up until this NEW VERSION that is now really horrible with all the words THAT ARE REALLY NOT STRAIGHT TO THE TRANSLATION POINT. I would NOT RECOMMEND IT !

Don't waste your money

The app itself works great, but the dictionary is a complete joke. Example: Mochila -> duffel bag, haversack, kit, knapsack, wallet. How about "backpack"?

Aged and missing common words..

Does not contain the word 'Desfrutar' - To enjoy! There are some curious omissions to ordinary vocabulary which can make for clumsy translations. Conjugation of verbs facility, however, is excellent and very well designed. Time for a new edition with upgraded vocabulary and accommodation for the iPhone 5 screen. There is now serious competition in the world of translation, Ultralingua!
