I have been waiting 3 months for the firmware fix that will enable the speed unlock.

The chat AI is decent and more complex than other AI agents. The scooter has given me no issues, it's light and powerful enough to climb steep hills. Delivery was also prompt. You can email Unagi and they will truly get back to you within 1-3 days. 

I've had no issues with customer service but with the team responsible for the firmware, this is not the fault of the customer service team. Speed unlock should not be a feature, the scooter should be operational to the speed advertised. It should not take 3 months to fix something that you're charging customers for.

So I just received my model one and I’ve got to say that the packaging is horrible, the box is all tapped up and rigged, it did not come with a user set up guide, when I started the scooter and attempted to pair it with my phone and the app, nothing happened and my phone Bluetooth is on and discoverable. The app simple will not connect the scooter at all. Absolutely worse experience. Not to mention it too. 2 weeks to get it shipped to me yet unagi will expect full payment this month. Like wow.

As previous buyers have stated this is a huge scam. There is no phone support if you have an issue. You have to email back-and-forth and all they will do is swap you out a scooter and require you to take the old one to FedEx. And don’t throw away the box or else you’re going to have to spend extra money there to get it back. Out of the three scooters I have had since the trial with Amazon only one worked for more than two weeks since then in the past four months I have spent maybe a week total riding, do not buy this item. Return it and cancel.

I’ve had the scooter for a year and had a wonderful experience this far. But the new firmware update for the scooter blocking out the speed limiter was unexpected and quite a negative impact to the riding experience. I will change my rating to 5 as soon as it’s fixed 🙏🏿✅🙃

### *---- "Terrible customers service and false advertising"
Only bought the scooter because it claimed to go 20mph but that is a lie and false advertisement as it’s stuck at only 15mph, they claim it’s a software issue but they don’t seem to be doing anything at all to fix it. They seem lazy, they just want a quick money grab with getting as much Scooters out as possible. 

What’s worse is that customer support is almost non-existent—they don’t respond, and the help provided is ineffective. It’s frustrating, especially when I’ve invested in their product. I don’t recommend Unagi due to these consistent issues.

Scooter delivered is dirty and ugly, delivery guy did not call to setup as promised during the purchase process, the app is unable to detect the scooter from last three days, AI  CHATBOT  is incapable to solve any problem, customer service only on weekdays. It’s a zero customer obsessed company. support videos are ineffective. Horrible experience to subscribe and rent scooter from here.

Wish I read these reviews before hand! Tried to cancel an they were going to charge me more than the $50! Thought it was a great deal as ive been struggle for reliable transportation to any job an not spend all my money on ubers! Going to charge me more just to cancel but finding out thru the app it’s no deal AT ALL! How am I getting two months free when you are charging me already in a week an it just came today! Why are you harming people in this economy instead of being of your word! Can not get ahold of any LIVE person an I have three kids trying my hardest to make ends meet my money can be going towards them or even a uber no matter if it costs more round trip! This is honestly sad, ridiculous, etc. Why lie to people when you know all of this is to only dup them out of their money. Unlike myself who does not have steady income it’s making me very sad the waste of money, time and energy this company puts in to scam us! Keep advertising an I will share this on reddit hopefully NO ONE spends their money with this company ever again! They can send the police an ill show them exactly what’s going on an what can be done they can take this scooter back an we have yet to ride it all! Lesson learned now back to square one an that’s fine im praying round the clock because as God said VENGEANCE IS HIS! 😔

I purchased a new Unagi Scooter, but after using it for a couple months it now has locked me out of using it, saying that it won’t verify through their app.  What!!!  I own the scooter!  

Unagi wasn’t smart enough into ‘unlock’ perpetual access for owners who bought vs. rented a scooter.  And you cannot ever reach a human to help.

I rented my scooter and what they don’t tell you is the app is only compatible with the voyager scooter😫 Thanks for your response. I'm happy to clarify. Looking at your account, it shows that you're currently renting an E500 Classic scooter. As it stands, this model scooter is not compatible with our app which is why you're not able to connect to your scooter. At this time, we are not sure if or when this model will be compatible with the app. However, our newer model, the Voyager is compatible with the app. Should there be any changes with this in the future, and your scooter becomes compatible wit the app, we will be sure to let you know. Trip recording is a cool feature because you could conceivably track rides without the Fitness app which makes these rides an outdoor cycling workout. But even if Location services are granting full permission to the app as always allowed, it still doesn’t show the mapping where you went. 

So, this app does have a way to go for that feature to work right.  

For changing everything else…. It’s perfect!!!
