Unbeatable Mind Box Breathing Reviews

Too expensive for what you get

Obsidian893 on

Germany

The app itself is good and works well. I still think the price is pretty steep for an app that hasn’t received any updates in more than two years. The user interface looks extremely dated and just plain ugly on newer phones. I expect more from a 5€ app... there are other apps that offer the same / more features but look way nicer and are cheaper. I honestly regret spending money on this.

Room for improvement.

Jowek on

Germany

The app itself is very cool, but there is obviously room for improvement. What I would love is an “endless” mode, in which I could only set the duration of one cycle and let it run. It could be very useful e.g. for prolonged contemplation.

A few fixes, and its perfect.

Great app, just needs 2-3 fixes, and it will get the 5 stars. -A little less robotic voice for the count -Setting the length of a session either through cycles or the time you want to spend meditating/breathing -the daily goal doesnt work: Had it set on 10 minutes, did 10 minutes and it still told me i was only 10 minutes away from my daily goal -The option to delete the custom cycles/intensions you can create. Other than those things, the app is just plain awesome!

I used to love this app. Can you please bring back the original sounds? I can’t distinguish these new sounds when I’m trying to meditate

Bring back original sounds

I just got ready to take my team through a session and we all freaked out with the new sounds. They make no sense and make me want to find a different app.

Last update is just wrong

Last update ruined the app entirely. Nothing works. Dev guys, really?

If it ain’t broke

This app was my go-to before all the updates- the tones were perfect and soothing. The new sounds feel disjointed. Please provide option for other sounds!

Used to love this app

elbarger on

United States

The new sound scheme is distracting and causes a disjointed feel with the break between phases of breathing. The old method was calming and smooth. I’ve recommended this app to dozens of other people. A number of them brought up this same concern about the latest update. My advice would be to offer new things without taking away the existing option.

Why do they ruin a good thing?

Seeeker55 on

United States

The latest app update basically ruined this app for me. Why do they insist on changing what works? Are the developers just bored? The sounds used to be a very intuitive inhaling sound for breathing in, a hold, then a very intuitive exhaling sound. It made perfect sense, and helped me keep pace and timing - intuitively. But now, each phase is a means less monotone, you don’t know what phase you are in, and then there is a silent gap between each section. WHY?! It makes absolutely no sense, and ruins the whole experience. Can we change it back? Because I’m finding another app.
