What are they and which are safe? Use this app to barcode scan any food to find out whether its artificial additives are banned in any countries around the world. Are you eating something "safe" in your country that other regulators deem to cause ADHD? Asthma? Cancer? Surprisingly, regulators around the world don't always agree about a chemical's safety. For example, lead paint was banned in several European countries in 1909. In the US, it took until 1978. The Ungredients.org mission is to improve transparency about the safety food additives. Use Ungredients to help inform yourself! ## Ungredients Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple62/v4/1c/f1/e7/1cf1e71e-5589-6e8c-64ce-67c2ecc513dd/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/1a/12/43/1a1243c2-2f2b-052b-0ebb-7190d709a6f2/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/aa/bb/a5/aabba5f5-9964-be04-c3da-d372fd189762/pr_source.png/2048x2732.png) ## Ungredients Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 4 (67%) - 4 stars: 1 (17%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (17%) ## Ungredients Reviews in United States ### ****- "Please keep updating the scanner barcodes" I love this App. But please continue to update and add to the barcodes. The barcodes that it reads gives excellent information. But there are many barcodes it doesn’t read. I know what food is supposed to contain, it’s the chemicals and uningredients that confuse me with all the different names these uningredients go by, and your App is so excellent at identifying these uningredients and providing great information on them. Please continue to update this important information. -- App user (RK), 2024-12-12 ### ***** "Impressive for a free app" I was having about a 50/50 success rate though. -- Patrick W.
