The app allows you to listen to and control your scanner over a wifi link -- either a direct link to the scanner (useful for mobile applications) or over a local intranet connection. V1 allows monitoring and control in scan mode. Future updates will continue to add more capabilities to the app. Your scanner must be running the latest firmware to use this app. For information about the latest firmware, see ## Uniden Siren Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/53/9d/1c/539d1c56-727f-a4f9-ed77-1040f10055e1/pr_source.png/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple3/v4/63/8c/35/638c35ac-ab7d-6514-826f-25b7fb7c2a05/pr_source.png/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/b8/64/ef/b864eff0-aff5-8c54-e7ab-778ef79b935f/pr_source.png/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple3/v4/af/6b/cd/af6bcd6b-d516-9374-6e58-020008f88588/pr_source.png/960x640.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple1/v4/04/45/54/044554f4-84c3-b37a-f72f-ad4e01b05881/pr_source.png/960x640.png) ## Uniden Siren Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 14 (14%) - 4 stars: 16 (16%) - 3 stars: 6 (6%) - 2 stars: 10 (10%) - 1 stars: 51 (53%) ## Uniden Siren Reviews in United States ### ***** "Run with No issues" I have Zero issues with this program run off a SRS200 -- Star buck, 2025-06-28 ### *---- "Awful." I try to use this on my SDS200. Rarely works even with a dedicated wired LAN connection. Frustrating to operate and often just stops responding. Tapping the mute button on the app is an automatic crasher. Hasn’t been updated in 9 years. This app is an orphaned afterthought. Too bad. It could have been very useful. I’d have paid for a robust mobile solution. -- BF261C5E, 2024-12-21 ### *---- "Trash ..." Don't wast your time. Drops connections and packets. -- tedtlaw, 2023-12-03 ### **--- "App needs help" This app needs help. UNIDEN come on! -- Bradley630, 2023-11-05 ### ****- "Works fairly decent with SDS200" This is probably an orphan app but it is still usable, at least within a local area network… -- RonWeyforth, 2023-07-24 ### **--- "It works…keep wishing for improvements" Does it work?….yes it can 🤔 Is it finicky?….you betcha! 🫤 Is it unpolished?…yep! 🫤 Does it look like a high school class project?….definitely! 🫤 I’m not going to crab about the 3 second delay. It doesn’t matter if I’m in another part of the house. With all this said…as I write this…I AM listening to my BCD536 on my iPhone14+ in another part of my house via local LAN. Far away from the 536. Nice👍 If I switch to another app…Siren continues working in the background. Nice! 👍 I have waited years for this functionality! And it’s finally here! Frankly, I gave up on any hope of a remote control app. Perhaps it’s simply class action lawsuit avoidance. Don’t sue us…We fulfilled our promise(barely) My hope is that Uniden will continue to improve this app or at least let another development team clean it up. 7 YEARS WITHOUT ANY UPDATE ?!? I WOULD PAY (can you hear me Uniden? I WOULD PAY) to use a much more polished and stable app. Like many others have pointed out…this app looks and functions like a beta convention demo app. But it can work!! I enjoy using my Uniden scanners. I own 4 different models. They work well. Please don’t let Siren die 😵 on the vine. -- OldTymeGamer, 2023-05-07 ### ***** "This app works great" Remember to use the app and get the most out of it. 1 put your WiFi in the BCD536HP 2 look inside the radio WiFi information To see that the ip is there. 3 on you siren app. Information; settings; before you hit agree, check you have to put the same IP address in the siren as the radio has. 4 if you ever have a issue hit on the app. Information; setting agree. It will come right back. 5 if the app. Is not responding pull the USB out of the BCD536HP and plug it back in. I’ve used this app. For two and a half years. Most of the problems people have with this is they don’t know what they are doing. -- mikel940, 2022-02-23 ### ***-- "Bluetooth please!!!" That’s all I ask for- audio out capability to bluetooth headphones. Otherwise the app is good enough. -- Jaykoot, 2021-11-29 ### *---- "No Audio on SDS200 scanner" The siren app worked fine with my BCD536HP connected to WiFi. My new SDS200 is connected to the Ethernet port and I get no audio from the siren app. -- Fdnyfish, 2021-08-23 ### *---- "Needs work." The possibilities are endless! But …still not right. -- Cartercountyradio, 2021-07-06 [View all Uniden Siren reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Uniden Siren Discovered Keywords -
