Works well easy to use.
Works simply and effectively to monitor and record events. Reliable intuitive user interface makes it simple to use.
I love the camera app.. being able to easily see all of my sites. It works well & lots of customisation. 2 important gripes. 1. The cameras are 3 to 5 times more expensive than other cameras on the market. 2. The outdoor cameras infra red is very poor … low range. You have to buy the most expensive outdoor cameras to get a reasonable IR range. Next my outdoor cameras day time colour reproduction all deteriorated to the point that the colour was beige ( greens faded out ). Now I have to replace them and the only good option is the very expensive higher models if I want t my IR to be half good at night. Other brands do IR very well at the fraction of the cost. Yes I know I can use IR boosters instead of buying the most expensive ones, but that will cost to buy them and also to have them installed. The camera IR should just be better like other much chapter brands. I would assume they are made in China… so if that is the case, why are they so expensive.
I love all the ubiquiti product
Would recommend Ubiquiti UniFi Protect to anyone and have recommended it to many people. It’s very easy to use and Ubiquiti make constant improvements to all of their products. It’s clear that Ubiquiti are very committed to what they do.
Cameras are great system generally works well. Link to Google home is average, runs through a server in the USA apparently, guests can watch themselves at the front gate when they are very much inside the house. This also means that it takes about 25 seconds before we can determine who is at the gate and wether we should answer or open the door. This link to google home runs through Sonos and notifies when the door bell is activated. Seems to have a mind of its own and sometimes doesnt call at all when activated.
The app is very easy to use and works seamlessly.
The only way this could be better would be HomeKit…
Add console button doesn’t do anything
Thanks for bringing back the crossing line filter. Would be even better if there was a crossing line notification!!
