The main problem is that there is no option to filter by date, meaning half of the ads you see were posted months ago. The amount of time you have to scroll to find a half decent offer is the main reason why I decided to stop using the app. The same jobs have been posted for months, some even years with no applicant hired despite hundreds of applications. Most of these jobs are scams, illegal or underpaying (ie work 20 hours for an amount that’s under minimum wage requirements, or do someone’s university coursework so they pass the course - which is completely unacceptable). When adding your experience on the CV builder, not only does it only let you add work up until 2022 (so any started before/after can’t be included), but it also doesn’t let you save the experience. While creating your own CV and uploading the file to the app is a great way around this, the file upload button doesn’t work. I managed to do one task and earned like £2. However when I have tried to upgrade my profile by linking my tiktok, or upload some videos for my shout profile portfolio, it just keeps glitching. When I tried to verify my student status, it wouldn’t let me proceed even after I put the correct code in. When I did so manually, it said it would take two days to verify, it took more than 2 weeks. When I had a task, I could not read the brief because it wouldn’t let me click it. To top it all off, I got logged out of my account which I filled all my details in, and when I try to login again it makes me fill out the entire sign up form from scratch. Many times i’ve tried to click on a job and it just doesn’t let me no matter how many times I try, it’s become frustrating now. I deleted the app because it’s too much of a hassle dealing with all these bugs.
