Perfect example of something that was working and destroying it. Let’s complicate something as simple as this

I installed and validated this app, got an email saying I could use it straight away, went and bought 120l of diesel, but no barcode, so had to pay full price. Told on the phone that there is a problem with the barcodes and I could get the discount refunded. Then got a new app validation code by SMS, BUT THERE IS NO WAY OF ENTERING A NEW VALIDATION CODE INBTHE APP!! Please, United, get your act together.

Downloaded app - needs passcode from original email sent every time you open it - NOT useful!! Only shows fuel - no other discount functions available - avoid the headaches and frustration and delete immediately

Tried to use app many times but never received verification code. Called the help line 10 times, no option to talk to anyone, left messages, no call back and still no code

I have been using the card for a number of years without a problem. Change to APP when notified and used once now it will not generate bar code United need to go back to cards as the APP is an absolute joke.

Why would you do this? I’m an 88 year old senior and my son has to help me with these silly apps. Why would you want to discourage seniors from using your fuel stations?

I downloaded the app to receive a 4c seniors discount. Downloading and setting up went well. When I click on “generate barcode” I get an error saying unable to generate a barcode. Pls try again in a few mins. Having been trying for 3 days. Same message. No barcode, no discount. 😡 I’m aware it can only be used once a day, but not even getting one a day.

App doesn’t send verification code. The discounts are only at certain participating outlets. The participating outlets fuel is not cheaper as they raise the prices to compensate for the discount. One United station had diesel for $1.72 per litre and unfortunately wasn’t participating in the programme, down the road another United station had diesel for $1.82 per litre and was listed as a participating outlet. So realistically no discount. I found this the same at all participating stations, higher fuel prices, and non participating stations, cheaper fuel prices. The whole thing is a false and misleading. Shame on both the government and the company advertising this totally useless scheme to seniors. Delete the app and use the free NSW fuel app, this is a much better, easier and fuel efficient way of finding your nearest and cheapest fuel.
