## United Airlines Reviews in Canada

### ***** "Comprehensive App Experience"
I have never encountered an airline app as comprehensive as United. I have flown many carriers, but none come as close to the experience you get with United’s app. No leaf is left unturned, and you feel like they are really with you the entire time from check-in to tracking exactly where your bag is located. Highly recommend downloading their app for the full experience.
-- sylviakc, 2026-09-10

### *---- "Check in doesn’t work for Canadians"
The app will slowly take you to the process of checking in on your flight but at the very last page they will not let you write the name of a Canadian province so the whole time consuming process collapse. Frustrating.
-- Bruno-kit, 2026-09-09

### ***** "Travel from Rome to Toronto"
Online check-in was swift. Great work on aligning a simple process.
-- switch h3, 2026-09-06

### **--- "App won’t update in calendar"
I’m trying to use the add to calendar feature in the app and it does not update my calendar on my iPhone.
-- julesssss.s, 2026-09-03

### *---- "Pathetic useless app"
Would not accept my passport photo for several hours before checking in and found out from a agent on the phone they can’t accept the info over the phone either and then by the time I got to the airport it was too late to check in. Your app SUUUUUUUCKS and cost me 9 hours of vacation time. I took that photo so many damn times and each one was clear as day with no glare.

The airline might be garbage but the app is WAY WORSE.
-- Jenna Hell, 2026-09-03

### ***-- "Billing restrictions"
You cannot pay for a seat upgrade unless you have a US address
-- Pure awesomely awesomeness, 2026-09-02

### *---- "Frustrating"
I feel like very time I use this app I need to give it all my information from square one again even though I’m signed in. I couldn’t even add my credit card because it doesn’t have Canadian provinces as a billing option. Lastly there is nowhere obvious to add my TSA pre info. This app and process sucks.
-- Nucks Fan, 2026-08-30

### ***** "Phone App Stalled"
Several attempts to try to check in and took over an hour
-- Hailed Guevara, 2026-08-29

### ****- "Works but glitchy"
App works, but is really frustrating for international travellers. Enter hotel information, etc in Travel Ready Centre and then have to enter it all again at check-in. It should just be entered once per booking confirmation.
-- regretful88, 2026-08-23

### ***** "“ Kwoool “"
Great for all your travel needs, Strongly Recommend!
-- Forchy Garcia, 2026-08-22

### ***-- "Check-in"
During check-in on the app, when I decided not to enter my credit card for contactless inflight payment, it kicked me out and I had to start check-in process all over again
-- David 797, 2026-08-22

### *---- "Poor experience for Canadian"
Credit card and payment info requires entries like province and postal code, labels them like you can enter, but provides no option to do so, nor will it let you move forward. It is a frustrating endless loop of nonsense.
-- Garrah76, 2026-08-21

### ***-- "checked bag payment for canadians"
app would not let me pay for checked bags early as a canadian. i had to wait until check in and subsequently miss out on the discount for paying early. apart from that great app.
-- Roypoitras, 2026-08-13

### **--- "Payment option failure"
The app works great until I want to use my Canadian credit card to pay for an upgrade. There is no option to add a Canadian province in the State/Province field of the billing address section, so the system won’t let me enter my credit card. Very frustrating. I tried to use Apple Pay, but it’s only available to people with US billing addresses. Very frustrating.
-- ChiLimey, 2026-08-13

### *---- "Non-American user"
This app is not native, and the reach back into the website is non conducive to getting travel docs together if you are not a ‘us citizen’ and causes loops in checkin process
-- Canucksruletheworld, 2026-08-11

### *---- "Upgrade denied"
I tried to upgrade our seats for a flight but was prevented from completing my purchase because the drop down menu for state/province does not include any Canadian provinces. I could enter my postal code but not the province. Please fix this so Canadians don’t always get stuck at the back of the plane in the seats that don’t recline. Thank you
-- Tired Traveller, 2026-08-11

### *---- "The App is not smart enough!"
I’m selecting my country of residence Canada, but when I’m trying to add my credit card, the App is not accepting Canadian Address to set billing address.
-- Shahed.V, 2026-08-10

### **--- "Cancelling flights and I had to pay for my luggage twice"
The worst service I had with united in a long time ! Very disappointing !
-- Diana_saykali, 2026-08-10

### *---- "Silly app"
Can use app as Canadian as province is not a valid option. Our version of 1k on star alliance also does not allow us to login unless as guest. Expect more.
-- Frustrated super elite 2, 2026-08-08

### *---- "Canadian"
Can’t add Canadian address to credit card section
-- Soundguy6, 2026-08-06
