### **--- "Carry on not allowed, go with southwest"
I paid $500+ for a nonstop flight from San Diego to Houston on a random non-holiday weekend. Carry on NOT included. This means round trip I was forced to spend an additional $100 ($50 each way) just to check a small carry on bag. 

This is terrible business practice. I will never be choosing United as my airline again. Just feels scammy and ridiculous. Not to mention half the cabin overhead bins were half empty because of this rule. AND half the cabin was empty. 

App works fine. I’d say United app is actually better than most apps on the store. Just annoying opaque ticket pricing with addons relative to other airlines. 

Go with southwest!

The explorer card Popup ad that comes up every time I open the app makes this extremely inaccessible to those of us with ADHD. There’s already an ad for this card on EVERY PAGE, it is unnecessary and quite frankly infuriating to have to click out of this to continue my workflow. I will now never get an explorer card purely out of spite, and this makes me seriously consider switching airlines to one that doesn’t feel the need to shove ads down my throat 24/7. Especially when I’m already paying a premium for their product. Do better United. 😡

Always dependable easy check in! Feel safe with United! I flew to SLC on Delta and their app was awful! They did not text me personally like United. Their gates were outdated! The flight was good but they did not text me the gate or what and where baggage claim was for my flight! 
My daughter joined United Airlines because of my recommendations!
Thank you United for putting. Safety FIRST!
