The most ridiculously app I have ever seen. My batteries in my remote were dead so downloaded this app to control my Roku Soundbar, which I had already paid Roku for. Any time I touched the controller on the app I was given the option to pay to unlock the full app to control my soundbar. When I clicked the X I was given a 5 second ad then taken back to the main controller screen. Clicking again gave me the samesubscription screen then another ad. There is no point to this app unless you pay £50 a year! Ignore this app.

Cool when you need a Roku remote but EVERY time you have to accept data preferences and EVERY time it neglects to remember you don’t want it to share my data with anyone

You’re better with out this app it’s all just payment including the remote, it’s a scam don’t download.

The official Roku app has a free remote control function. I mistakenly purchased this app as it is at the top of the search list. After downloading and going onto the app an Apple Pay screen comes up instantly and it is so easy to click yes for a weeks subscription at £6.99. Disgusting really. I don’t get what the charge is supposed to actually cover. Needless to say I quickly got a refund from apple and deleted the app. I am now using the official, legitimate (and most importantly free) Roku app and have had no problems!

I like it bc I can just go on my phone and change the channel. but I don’t get the point of it bc I will all ways have the tv remote all the time and it a pain if you have it on your phone bc you have to unlock your phone and go in the app even tho you have the tv remote next to you Ty for reading 👌

Why are you offering what should be free. Your charging what it would cost for a Roku remote and box in just four payments to you!!!! Go get a real job!!!

So you already pay for the Roku device then expect us to pay for this remote SCAM !!!

These universal remotes are trash. The connection fails often. It also lists every television in the house that already has a remote, yet the tv I need to use this app for, is never listed. They also hope you’ll forget to cancel subscription. I’ll go to the store and buy one. It is not worth the headache for this “convenience!”
