A wonderful prayer resource

Universalis has enriched my prayer life. Mainly by praying the Liturgy of the Hours. It is wonderful to be able to dedicate all the hours of the day to the Lord and with Universalis, it is so simple.

Excellent App, Highly Recommended

Not only has one all the prayers of the Divine Office on hand everyday, 365 days a year, but much more besides. Included, for example, is the daily Mass with the Gospel and readings, information on the saints of the day, and the holy Rosary with the relevant passages from the holy Scriptures, etc, etc. A very useful facility is the audio option, particularly so when one is ill. It is an amazingly well thought out app. Thank you to the designer for making this handy app readily available.

Great all round app

Mainly use the app for Mass and love the options available; simple readings only through to all priests private prayers, etc. Also use the rosary, which again can be as simple or elaborate as suits your needs. Especially love being able to follow the Mass in other lagngages when overseas.

I am really enjoying this breviary. I find it’s simplicity very helpful. It is very easy to manoeuvre around it. The reason I haven’t given it a high score is that I wish that it came with a diary/note making section and a way of saving and copying passages.

A very giving app

I am so grateful for this app. As well as the Daily Word of God it is full of enlightening extras and surprises.

Simple, to the point, next best thing from a book

A no nonsense app that just gives you the prayers you need for the day with no adds or add-ons. Books are obviously better but Universalis is there when you don’t have access to your breviary or can’t work out what day it is liturgically

Life changing App

The Universalis App is the most genuine and beautiful Catholic app out there. You can feel that there’s actually a real person looking after it and it’s not an AI sort of thing running it. It has beautiful readings, hymns, information about saints and many beautiful prayers too. For me it’s benefits are endless and makes it possible for me to have all of this on the go. Truly life changing. I love this app and cannot recommend it enough.

No more books going out of date

I was never sure if I was reading from the right week. This app serves all the right readings to you correct for the day and doesn't need the internet. A really good support for prayer if you’re looking to follow the Catholic readings and prayer.

Excellent support for prayer

This app with its recent updates is of huge benefit in adopting a rhythm in daily prayer. All of the relevant parts of the liturgy of the hours presented as they are prayed, as well as daily angelus, rosary and Mass - and the spoken tracks in a pleasing range of British and Irish accents making it feel very “at home” for a UK based user. Excellent value for money, ability to tailor to individual preferences and so easy to use.
