How big is a planet, compared to a human? And how small is an atom really? You can’t fully wrap your head around the scope of things by just reading about them – so this app lets you experience them in comparison to get a feeling for their true scale. By simply swiping you can zoom in and out all the way from the world of fundamental particles up to the largest stars at the edge of the observable universe.

It’s really fascinant the job of kurzgesagt team on this app. I just have one question: The size of IC 1101 is correct? Cause it’s smaller than M87. I’m not quite about the size of IC 1101, but some people estimate it in about 6 million light-years in diameter.

There’s only 1 mistake that I found. In the description of the up quark the word proton miss the letter P and it’s written “roton”.

i’m brazilian and I LOVED that in the animation for the amazon rain forest you guys made sure to acknowledge the environmental crimes that have been going on by animating the current criminal fires. also would love to see the cube representing the amount of fresh water in comparative to the cube representing water in general. please keep the AMAZING work ♡
