This product is the result of input from many users. unrealBook does not come with songs or charts, you must add your own PDF files. The screenshots are samples of what you can do with unrealBook.
Yes, unrealBook supports PDF Table of contents, user created indexes, bookmarks, keywords. You can even convert the PDF table of contents into indexes. It has been able to do these features for a while.

unrealBook FAQ

Yes, unrealBook is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is unrealBook legit?
✅ The unrealBook app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
I have being using this product for the past 6 years and I can honestly say it has changed the way I play for the better. I play keys in a variety of lineups from solo to a 5 piece, and I used to have to lug a milk crate full of sheet music....my repertoire currently runs out to ~ 550 songs. The initial setup of scanning everything to PDF took a while, but it was worth it. I also invested in a iPad Pro....so what I am reading is (close to) an A4 page of music....page turning is easy either a quick tap or get yourself a set of pedals.....as I say setting up takes a while and making sure that you markup the pages for repeats and coda marks and also making your own notations also takes time... it is worth it....with the master/slave capability I can have all muses reading off the same page ....literally!!! Thanks for the product....fully worthwhile DM
The best!
I’ve used this app for years and I can honestly say there’s nothing out there as good. As a performing musician, I’ve encouraged many others to use it and they’ve all been very happy. Money very well spent!
Great Interface - user friendly easy edits
Happy user of the free version now for years - now upgrading my iPad and happy to pay for the new version
Money very well spent
Great app
I’ve been using unrealBook now for several years and it’s perfect for my requirements. Great app Aron!
The best app ever!
I’ve been using the app for last 7+ years and over that period managed to “transfer” all my music into unrelBook - over 26,000 tunes/songs for variety of shows, bands, duos, trios etc. Also using the app for the education purpose and that is a godsend too: most of my students have their own unrealBooks so often we will share the MP3 files, aural training as well as sight reading exercises etc. The app allows you to attached extra data to the pages such as MIDI (to call correct patches on my multiple keyboards and sound modules instantly), some more info in form of a ‘sticky notes’, the samples of intros (in MP3 format) if I need to plus heaps of other options. You can also share your music with other musicians (if they have an app as well) instantly, make annotations, navigating flawlessly through the tune(s) such as D.C. al Fine, D.S. - segno - sings, multiple coda(s) sing etc. I’m also adding info regarding the correct keys for variety of singers I’m working with - fantastic and handy feature means I only need to establish the key once and anytime after we are working again, everything I need to know/remember is there for me, instantly. I would like to mentioned another fact: the developer of the app - Aron Nelson - provides outstanding, second to none - support I have ever experienced from any software/app ever. He answers all my queries in almost no time at all, often suggests alternative solutions if they are available. Many, many thanks Aron and let’s hope the app will grow and improve (how can you improve thing so almost perfect?) the feature versions, can’t wait to get to the next one. He also listens to the musicians and implements they suggestions with the following updates too, which somehow makes you feel good about the fact they you might have some small input with the next version of unrealBook.
Cheers, Lukasz
Used it for years
We are a duo, playing with backing tracks & Unreal book has been the best by far for us. Does all that I want better.
Does not work with multi page songbooks.
Does not work well with multi page PDF songbooks. I paid for the app and it took me 5 minutes to discover that it was useless for my purposes.
Too confusing, won’t work.
Loaded in proper indexes and related PDF’s. Refuses to work.
Mr
Great, wish i had this app years ago & save me carrying six big books of music to the gig, whilst having a rest before finishing the set, have a chance to judge mood of crowd & quickly look ahead for the next number
Unreal book
A great app, does exactly what I need for practice and gigs with the big band. Especially good for use with the two iPads showing successive pages, great set list functions and adding highlights and comments to PDF scores.
