If you have dark skin or are Indonesian expect to continously fail their verification process as they find (1) the poor quality Indonesian passports too reflective, (2) that the photo of yourself is too dark for them... I have submitted a photo inside on my iPhone 6s, inside on my iPad, and outside in daylight on my iPad. The passport is clearly legible and my features identifiable. This is baffling to me. It seems a bias in whatever automated verification system they use.

The app is fine, but it should not be the only way to access Up Bank. I've been with them for 5 years, and they haven't even started implementing this feature. The website doesn't need to have all the same features of the app, just let me see my transactions and send money via a browser

This app still lacks the dark mode so using it in the dark, the white colour will strongly hit your eyes like crazy. Comparing it to other apps like ANZ Plus or UBank, they have developed better dark mode. I know that nothing can be perfect, maybe it already planned the change in new versions.

Honestly no. Kinda very sketch. This service actually deems you a risk and will close your account and never let you open another if you transfer your money anywhere they deem risky to them, The won’t allow you to spend YOUR OWN money .. On your own investments elsewhere. I.e anything cryptocurrency related. They will simply issue you an account closure notification and wipe their hands of you. Without warning I might add. … and no contact them feature after this either.. CUSTOMER SERVICE The customer service is comparable to that of a robot. 0 communication, care or service. Probably the worst banking and financial services company I’ve ever dealt with. Stick to your traditional banking systems, at least they’re likely to treat you like a person. The only upside to this is the funky graphics in the app and the message style transfer feature.
