## UPS Mobile Delivery Description
UPS Employees can enjoy the convenience of performing the delivery and pickup functionality for usage on the road on their personal device.
The intuitiveness of the application guides you through the steps for completing the activity.

The employee that is planned within the system will be provided with a manifest of their stops with ability to use navigation using their local maps.
On each stop the employee is provided stop details with any specific unique accessorials (COD, Signature Required, Adult Signature Required) or notes associated to that stop (Beware of Dog). Based on those accessorials the application will guide you through the best way to complete the delivery process.
Can’t complete the delivery? No problem the application also has the exceptions you would need to properly status for the customer.

Also, employees can enjoy the ability of building a manifest within the application by scanning the packages they will be servicing and through the integrated technology pull those stops into their manifest.

Completing pickup functionality can also be performed from within the application.

Two way communication between the local center and you allows for engaging on updates as necessary.

The use of this application is available in full when the UPS employee signs up through the BYOD process.

App is still to this day very clunky and loaded with bugs that make the user’s interactions while using very undesirable. Still crashes frequently which is crazy coming from such a large company like UPS and for them to be okay with it. Even the whole color theme is off being primarily blues and greens when UPS uses gold and brown as their trademark colors. Definitely needs some TLC sooner rather than later. Figure it out

The app works the same as on the diad but the camera will NOT scan packages.  When I go to help another driver, I have to type the tracking numbers in. Out of 30, it scanned 2. Out of 25, it scanned 3.   It's ridiculous they can't get the app to work with the iPhone camera. I'll definitely have an android again next year because it's been a headache this year and it wasn't a problem on my android last year.

After reading complaints on the barcode scanning, I thought I would share my experience. If you slowly move your phone closer or further away from the barcode, it generally tends to capture it. As others have also pointed out, tilting it slightly has seemed to help on occasion as well.

When it comes to scanning the tracking number aka barcode; tilt your phone forward as you scan the bar code with your phone, as well as the package. If you have a box that you have to place on the ground or surface, still tilt your phone forward. It can be a bit tricky but take your time leaning forward to scan that barcode. I discovered this the first week of work, being a jumper for UPS. I also would like to discuss the problems I have with the driver completed stops not clearing out of my board, on my device and causes confusion.

### ****- "One big problem…"
Download and used this today and it worked well for the most part.  
The one thing that is a problem is that the navigation does not work.   Tap the “Navigate” button and nothing happens.    That’s kind of a big deal when you’re trying to deliver things.   I’ll have to deal with it because I don’t want carry two phones.  It’s still suboptimal to have to manually input every address yourself.   Please fix this ASAP.

Update has fixed the navigation and I have revised my rating to reflect this.   
The one thing that seems to be off is the camera scanning doesn’t seem to capture barcaodes quite as well as the Android MDA I was using.   Not a huge problem, I’m happy to not have to carry 2 phones.

I’m a PVD and I have to use my phone and this app to work. I have a IPhone 16 pro max. Building a manifest is a nightmare. I can maybe get one package to scan out of 40. I have to input tracking numbers manually because it won’t scan. So drivers feel bad and give me a little bit of packages and leave because I have to take 20 mins to build a manifest….. PLEASE update so we IPhone carriers can actually scan packages and I know you know this is a known issue!

Having issues scanning barcodes, WONT SCAN.I don’t know if it has to do with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Having to build a manifest manually is very time consuming. PLEASE FIX!!
