Upwork has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $124,900.00.
You definitely take care of your clients but what about the freelancers giving their time and money to you so you can make a business too? There should be a way to make clients stick to work within the app and pay through the app cause, TRUST ME, lots of clients want to chat through WhatsApp or email or pay through PayPal rather than sticking to the app. And for us, freelancers, it’s frustrating to loose connects and projects for just for refusing to do business outside the upwork platform. It’s ok to take care of your clients but please, take care of your freelancers too.

Paid membership and blocked me
I’ll never recommend this platform because I paid their membership yesterday and today they blocked my account permanently without any detail explanation.
I paid them because I needed “Connects” to apply for jobs but when I paid for it, they blocked me.
It doesn’t make sense.
So, please don’t lose your money and your time.

Cheaters
People be aware of many people trying to ask you deposit to pay you out for your job so they ask money before pay you and then they don’t make any payment. It’s crazy you make your work and they stole your money. The plataform should only accept companies verified not scammers. Security is not good. They ask everything by telegram
Greedy People
I used to love working with this platform, but with the whole connects and 10% fees, it’s nearly impossible to find a decent job. Clients obviously are trying to get what’s more affordable, that’s why they’re outsourcing, so their cheap offers plus everything Upwork wants to take is simple a miserable experience.
Notifications dont dissapear
Thats annoying, i just read all my inbox, clean my notifications and i still have the red dot at the corner
