It’s a pretty good and convenient app, but I just can’t believe it’s anno 2024 still not possible to track your hours on phone, come on man 🤷‍♀️👎

Filled with correct user credentials and it asked for security question where I don’t know. Went to another option by filling a 6 digit code still I cannot login. Tried with password reset again it asking for 6 digit code and now am trapped. Why this much complicated login? There’s no easy option to login or reset the account. Basically outdated system, not a friendly login for anyone. This makes my account locked just only because outdated and non tested login.

With the new update, every time I open a job, the details page never opens making the app completely unusable. Hope the fix is released soon.

The good days of Upwork is over. When agencie took over the platform and killed it, Upwork tumbled in 2019, Then Upwork went ahead and stretched the code of ethics with their infamous JSS score system. And 2023 starts with overpaying for sending proposals, never get a reaction ( Im Top Rated and don’t receive invitations anymore or reactions to my proposals. Many fake clients , fake jobs. It looks like money laundering happening between indian and african countries. Upwork is dead guys. capital D.

I am writing this review because upwork won’t take responsibility that “you” as a new freelancer worked for free. In other words, maybe you found upwork to make some extra cash, however you are not sure how everything works until you get your first “freelance job”. The application will not warn you about getting a contract so you can get paid. You might think the contractor will transfer the money through the app. All in all, upwork let people to act as contractors and hiring newbies to work for free. More regulations should be applied to contractors and profiles of people like that, should be banned forever. Or update the application so that the freelancer gets a contract by default.

Most links and tabs redirect to jobs! Get paid for example or the contracts don’t open the right page. Remove the tabs and links if the functionality is not available

horrible company. Blocked my account without giving any reason for it, i had to keep asking why. Turns out you can not have contract with people you already know before Upwork because this is Feedback violation. They never state this anywhere in their Terms of Service so impossible to know it is forbidden. Customer service bad and difficult to reach. Would not recommend it at all, also they take very high fees!

My iPhone 7 becomes really hot when using Upwork. Like it’s throttling up to max CPU usage. Please fix this and you’ll get a better rating. Oh and your support bots suck. Making it impossible for me to tell you about this issue.

The old app was much better. This one is buggy and unintuitive. Chat windows freeze in place so you can’t get to other chats anymore, app freezes when submitting proposals, the proposals are still sent most of the time, unless the app crashes mid proposal.
