All I can say is you better put in a low bid and win some work, if you actively use the site and try to win some work but don’t, you will get flagged and suspended because you are obviously taking work off the platform. This site is THE biggest con ever! Do not even waste your time with it unless you can do work on here for a almost free!!!!! Not even sure I can rate this rubbish as low as I would like.

Before I install this “UpWork for FreeLancer”, I used the “UpWork” app, it works fine (even UX not very good, but still can works). After install this, tap the icon to launch the app, always see the loading spinner, never see the app UI, never, it totally bad feeling when u need it urgently, plz fix it!

Too much scam and the real companies takes an eternity to answer emails I haven’t got a single real lead. I’ve been invited to apply hundreds times and is a scam On YouTube people making money without the “premium” membership have to have smell for scammers. Isn’t a safe place to post your product and information

It has been a week since I opened an account with Upwork. I have not received identity verification pop up or notification. There is no support (customer service or email), where I can get a response from real human. Chatbot doesnt understand questions beyond standard FAQs. What i have heard is that you have a higher chance of winning a project is your agency or freelancer has been verified. So. The wait is on. If I dont hear back soon, i am planning to cancel my membership.

I remember testing the waters with UpWork a year ago as a freelancer. Personally, I just think it’s stupid that you have to pay for their “connects” just so you can apply to jobs. That’s giving UpWork more money and not us. Go to Fiverr instead. It’s completely free and you won’t have to look for the clients. The clients will be looking for you.

I don’t have enough contacts to apply for new job . What can I do??

I attempted to create an account FIVE TIMES, and each attempt failed. I reached out to customer support, and they assured me I would receive a response within 24 hours. Now, a week has passed, and I've still heard nothing. It's unacceptable to support a company that fails to assist its users.
