I am wasting my credit at fake job advertisement! Upwork is stealing money & other who are putting fake advertisements are stealing money. Many people in discussion groups are hating this platform! I no longer like this platform & don’t use it like before! It’s all scam

The fees are ridicolous high, its a robbery

This app crashes right after opening on iPhone SE, hence useless...
Scammers
Too much scam and the real companies takes an eternity to answer emails I haven’t got a single real lead. I’ve been invited to apply hundreds times and is a scam On YouTube people making money without the “premium” membership have to have smell for scammers. Isn’t a safe place to post your product and information
Very disappointed with the start up process
It has been a week since I opened an account with Upwork. I have not received identity verification pop up or notification. There is no support (customer service or email), where I can get a response from real human. Chatbot doesnt understand questions beyond standard FAQs. What i have heard is that you have a higher chance of winning a project is your agency or freelancer has been verified. So. The wait is on. If I dont hear back soon, i am planning to cancel my membership.

Paying for connects is stupid
I remember testing the waters with UpWork a year ago as a freelancer. Personally, I just think it’s stupid that you have to pay for their “connects” just so you can apply to jobs. That’s giving UpWork more money and not us. Go to Fiverr instead. It’s completely free and you won’t have to look for the clients. The clients will be looking for you.
