You have to spend a lot before you earn

ugh.frustrating.app on

Philippines

The last client who gave me positive feedback was marked as ineligible because the system didn't register their feedback. Meanwhile, feedback from a previous client who rated me 3.5 stars was counted, which negatively impacted my job success score, leaving it at 67%. The platform seems to prioritize high-paying clients, offering little in return to freelancers unless significant revenue is generated. Additionally, the 10% service fee remains fixed regardless of the size of the payment, making it challenging for freelancers working on smaller projects. Upwork has strayed from its user-friendly roots and now appears more focused on increasing revenue at the expense of its freelance community.

I like the App as it has a dark mode option now. Hopefully, the service fee will go down 10%. So far, all good. Thank you.

they charge too much now for freelancers. connects are now costly. there is no regulation for jobs. $3 rate jobs for 16-18 connects. no guarantee you will even land the job. 100 connects for 1499. its too expensive now with 10% deductions on your wage.
