## Ur My Type - Dating Description
On Ur My Type, you can start chatting with compatible matches in 30 seconds. We use personality types to make finding friends and dating more meaningful.

We are turning the tables on the conventional friend finding and dating app model and adding what's actually needed: A way to be instantly matched with people based on personality types.

This works in 3 simple steps:

1. You fill out some basic information.
2. You take our personality test to find out your own personality type.
3. We instantly connect you with compatible matches in about 30 seconds!

Our personality test is inspired by the 16 personalities test, which uses psychometric testing to classify people into 16 personality types as follows:

INFP - The Idealist
ENFP - The Inspirer
INTJ - The Strategist
ENTJ - The Commander
INFJ - The Mystic
ENFJ - The Protagonist
INTP - The Thinker
ENTP - The Visionary
ISFP - The Adventurer
ESFP - The Entertainer
ISTP - The Craftsman
ESTP - The Dynamo
ISTJ - The Inspector
ESTJ - The Executive
ISFJ - The Nurturer
ESFJ - The Guardian

The four letters in the 16 personality types above stand for the following:

E: Extrovert
I: Introvert
N: Intuitive
S: Sensing
T: Thinking
F: Feeling
P: Perceiving
J: Judging

The HR departments of more than 75% of Fortune 500 companies use a personality test that is in one way or another a variation of the 16 personalities test. At Ur My Type, we are pioneering the application of the 16 personalities in the context of a friend finding and dating app.

We have discovered that our app concept is quite appealing to introverted people. Currently, our data shows that 65% of our users are introverts. There might be more extroverts than introverts in society, but on our app the opposite is true! So, if you identify as an introvert, we believe that you will particularly enjoy our app and get to befriend and date like-minded people.

We are idealists, but we are also realists. We realize that looks have a role to play in a dating app, which is why profile pictures are shown on our users' profiles. However, we refuse to believe that looks are the most important factor in forming meaningful relationships of any kind. Our core philosophy is that personality is the foundation for dating, making friends, and any type of human connection.

We acknowledge that the personality types defined by the 16 personalities test are mental models and not absolute truths. However, based on the available scientific data, the immense popularity of this personality test, and our own subjective preference (in case you haven't realized already, we are big fans of it), we are convinced that it's the best tool currently available to achieve our mission of making dating and finding friends online more meaningful.

Although Ur My Type was initially launched as a dating app, it can also be used to make friends. In fact, our data shows that up to 50% of our users are on the app primarily to make friends. 65% of our users indicate that they are looking for both dating and friendship at the same time. So, whether you are looking to befriend or to date like-minded and compatible people, you have come to the right place!

We are always communicating with our users to keep improving. So if you have any suggestions, tips, questions, or feature requests, please feel free to send us an email at info@ur-mytype.com.

Available worldwide.

## Ur My Type - Dating Reviews in United States

### *---- "Ew"
Garbage app. Keeps matching me with people I didn't swipe on!!
-- sjrbfoxnemsjxdb, 2025-09-23

### ****- "One star away from great"
I keep deleting and redownloading this app. I’ve tried countless other apps but this one seems to be it. I was able to make some nice acquaintances on this app before and have had a great experience with the support team (shoutout to Firas:)). However it has become festered with inappropriate people. I wish there was a feature which hid your pfp from those seeking romance.
-- Laliland03, 2025-09-17

### ***** "Exquisite and beautiful"
I haven’t gotten any better app than this and I’m really happy have this app
-- Eeekenny, 2025-09-17

### *---- "Waste of time for in person meetings"
The distance filter is useless, so you’ll see people from 150mi away. People aren’t required to submit their location, so for 50% of people, you have no idea where they’re from. Many weird people including people without photos. You only get 5 likes a day before the app begs you to upgrade, which is ~50% fewer free likes than most other apps. Diego matchmaker is useless as the matches are more random than compatible.
-- Soccer2626636363666258, 2025-08-20

### *---- "Never found a date"
I had this app for about three years and never found anyone I could actually go on a date with. Most of the girls I met on this app were dry or distant. I only met a handful of people I could genuinely have a conversation with, but they either ghosted me for whatever reason or were just not compatible. I highly do not recommend this app it’s a scam. They just want your money. Don’t waste your time.
-- Steven_xx1, 2025-08-19

### *---- "Many scammers"
This was a good idea for a dating app, but I was catfished by several scammers. In fact, I think I matched with only one real person - the rest were scammers asking me to chat with them outside the app where they would love bomb me and try to get me to send them money. I do NOT recommend this app. Stupidly, I paid for a month of premium right after downloading the app; I asked for my money back after encountering more scammers than real people, but (surprise!) no response from the devs.
-- J.Buddy, 2025-08-16

### ***** "Fun!"
I love this app! I can’t tell you how many wonderful people I have met all over the world! Mbti is so fun!
-- Erinjobergman, 2025-08-16

### ****- "Rating"
Amazing app though improve on let us know who are online and where they come from
-- R&cv 09, 2025-08-09

### ***** "Review"
It’s cool
-- sexylynda420, 2025-08-01

### ***** "Help me"
This app keep banned my account when I open another one them banned it again the issue is too much 😪
