I love meeting the riders and having wonderful conversations. As for the app…. Sometimes I hate it. Sometimes the alert for a new request doesn’t come through my car stereo. Sometimes the riders name and address are so large and way to involved that it encroaches on the ‘accept’ button and makes it impossible to accept that ride. As far as the map goes, as long as it has a pick-up location and a proper drop-off location, that’s all I need. I know the city of Peterborough well enough that I make my own route, with little or no traffic and little or no traffic lights, shortcuts galore. People like to get where they’re going as efficiently as possible.
