Four training modes: EQ Workbench — Interactive 9-band parametric. Drag nodes vertically for gain, scroll wheel for Q, double-click to reset. Frequencies are locked to the pivot points (that's the whole point). Quiz — Blind pivot trainer. The app boosts or cuts a random pivot on pink noise at Easy / Medium / Hard difficulty. A/B between processed and bypass, then pick the frequency + direction. Scoring tracks your accuracy over time. Listen — A/B reference mode. Set gain and Q on a single pivot, toggle A/B against bypass, and read the "Boost to..." / "Cut to..." cheat sheet. Train your ear by hearing the same EQ move at multiple frequencies. Sweep — Manual sine tone across the spectrum, plus an automatic logarithmic sweep from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with the nearest-pivot readout. Hear the spectrum, build the mental map. Sources: · Pink noise (Paul Kellet generator, 4-second loopable buffer) · Sine tone · Log sweep · Your own audio file · Live microphone (with feedback warning) Hearing safety built in: Three independent ways to instantly stop audio: 1. Mute button — instant silence, playback can resume 2. Stop button — tears down the audio source completely 3. Always: keep your master volume LOW, use headphones at safe levels Sine tones and sweeps are internally attenuated to 15% of full scale. Why is it free? Tomorrow's working sound engineers are today's audio students. We want you to learn properly — not paywalled, not gated, not crippled. No ads. No data harvesting. Just a real tool. Where next? · Surviving Audio — Plan and design PA systems before the show · Soundtools Pro — Real-time tools during the show Three apps, one story: train, plan, execute. ## Use Your Ear Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/0a/ad/53/0aad53b7-fc11-a1a1-b010-ccd6d6dc9209/04.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c2/d3/d1/c2d3d151-9593-70d3-8b89-74d0d4862f1a/03.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/24/00/a3240088-bcf6-0aae-220a-e8e91ff7ffda/01.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/44/bb/e9/44bbe9ad-2593-381d-36e7-250a00f1b7f2/02.jpg/1242x2688.png) ## Apps Similar to Use Your Ear - [BLEASS Delay](https://apptail.io/app/bleass-delay-Veob/estonia) - [MarcMoerd](https://apptail.io/app/marcmoerd-DWMe/estonia) - [Jeux d'orgues](https://apptail.io/app/jeux-dorgues-ykSe/estonia) - [KeyStage](https://apptail.io/app/keystage-Vgdl/estonia) - [MAILA](https://apptail.io/app/maila-IPjm/estonia) - [KingB Organ](https://apptail.io/app/kingb-organ-kGWp/estonia) - [Gospel Organ®](https://apptail.io/app/gospel-organ-InYq/estonia) - [Trumpet Tuner - Tone Generator](https://apptail.io/app/trumpet-tuner-tone-generator-sfav/estonia) - [Natural Tune](https://apptail.io/app/natural-tune-LaIv/estonia) - [Ear Training: EQ & Frequency](https://apptail.io/app/ear-training-eq-frequency-lgby/estonia) ## Use Your Ear Available In - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/armenia) - [Barbados](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/barbados) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/bahrain) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/bermuda) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/brunei) - [Belize](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/belize) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/cyprus) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/estonia) - [Grenada](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/grenada) - [Ghana](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/ghana) - [Guyana](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/guyana) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/iceland) - [Jamaica](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/jamaica) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/sri-lanka) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/madagascar) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/north-macedonia) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/malta) - [Mauritius](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/mauritius) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/malaysia) - [Namibia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/namibia) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/nepal) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/oman) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/slovakia) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/senegal) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/united-states) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/use-your-ear-nvzA/uzbekistan) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
