Device compatibility

I’m new to this. I found this app on a work from home site. I figured I’d try it out, but there isn’t any compatibility for iOS devices (iPhone) or android. So I haven’t been able to get any testing. It would be nice if there were more testing for iOS users and android users.

No tests

I can see tests for iOS on the computer and they won’t show up on the phone what is the point of this

Stop it with the updates!

I’m so sick and tired of having to update this app every couple of days! It feels like whenever I want to use it, I have to update. AGAIN! Can’t you just put out one update once a month instead of 10 a week? 🤦🏻‍♀️

You’d think they’d do their own user testing

The app is super buggy and is poorly designed. Surveys and screeners are poorly written with logic errors. Very little pre-screening so you answer the same questions over and over just to get screened out for the same reasons. Needs desperate improvement.

Never worked

I haven’t been able to make an account. Had the app on my phone for probably over a year, remembering randomly to update and check if it will work but it never does. Every time I try to sign up it says “We’re sorry. Something went wrong. Please try again.” When I submit my username and password.

Username devil difficulties

I really couldn't get past the username and password. Every time I tried a username it was either used or got a message “Something went wrong”. Pretty much why my review is what it is!

An obvious correction that would improve things a lot, and questions

(1) I wish the listings of the available tests on the app included a quick summary like the listings on the website do. That way, you could pass on ones that aren’t pertinent (e.g., Are you a native Polish speaker?) without going to the trouble of entering the screener, being rejected, and waiting for the app page to update. (2) I don’t understand why “Tests for this device” always includes website tests as well as app tests. (3) Why do the “website tests” on the app not seem to correspond with the tests that are available on the computer? (4) And on the website, why clutter up the list of tests with smartphone tasks? Just indicate somewhere that there are app tests available and send people to the app. (5) And since I’m complaining about the web interface now, it would be nice to be able to filter out live conversation tests so they don’t fill up the list. I’m never going to be interested in doing those.

This app was required for UserTesting and is very user friendly. Thanks
