Access popular USPS.com® tools on the go with the “USPS Mobile® app: calculate shipping prices (limitations apply), find a Post Office™, look up a ZIP Code™, schedule a next-day pickup, request USPS to hold your mail, access Informed Delivery® to track packages and digitally preview incoming mail, and more.

WHAT CAN IT DO?

The USPS Mobile app allows you to:

• Check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services. Nickname your shipments and sign up for text and email alerts to notify you of the delivery status.

• Calculate a Domestic or International Price to determine how much postage you will need when you ship a letter, card, large envelope, or package (limitations apply). Choose retail or online pricing, add any extra services you need, and view the total, too.

• Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions.

• Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. or Canadian address.

• Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery.

• Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ for you to pick up or be delivered by your carrier when you return.

• Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your device’s camera (Note: this function is not available on iPad 1 and iPod Touch models without rear-facing cameras). The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of delivery status.

Worst Carrier Ever

I have never seen a worse postal company in my life than USPS!

Not Happy

I ordered a item on June 3/23. I have not received it as of today Sunday June 11/23. If I don’t want it I only have a certain amount of time left before I can’t send it back if I don’t want it. I already got screwed over from my last order. I will NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. They rip people off. On my last order I am out $152.00 because they won’t take it back. I am going to report to the Better Business Bureau for this company. This is what happens to a honest person who literally trusts a company who is dishonest.

Buggy as heck

Even just opening the app and selecting the first big button for package tracking pops up a big warning saying: “Alert! You are now leaving the USPS® app. Once you leave, you will fall under the policies and procedures of the web site you have chosen to visit. Thanks for using our app; please come again soon.” Of course I never actually left the app at all.

Professional

People often take what these folks do for granted - but the professional performance of the us postal service is over and above

Does not track anything.

App just opens up browser to the website for tracking. This is a useless app.

App Redirects To Site

What is the use of this app if the users are redirected to the site when looking at Tracking Numbers? Unless this bug is fixed, I’ll be deleting it for the time being.

App broken

This app used to work well. Now all it does is redirect you to the website on your browser. This was a bug that was supposedly fixed, but it appears not. App is useless until that’s fixed, easier to keep your tracking open in safari.

Don’t use if your in Canada

This app is just like every other shipping app it’s good but I bought a hard drive from Amazon and it’s getting shipped by usps and I have to WAIT 11 TO 22 DAY to get a hard drive. LIKE WHAT AND TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU A GUARANTEED DATE. Now I have to build my new pc without the hard drive so I can’t even install any games because my ssd only has 240gb because it was supposed to be for the software and one game.

Broken app still redirects to website

Despite the supposed “Fix for the broken locations re-direct on iOS” posted in November 2021, the USPS app is still broken with the same issue. As of the time this review was posted, it’s been seven months without an update. Instead of being able to check on details for or add names to tracked packages within the app, you get a pop-up alert that you’re about to leave the app and are being redirected to the USPS site on a separate browser. Until this ongoing issue is fixed, there’s simply no reason to have this app. Deleted.

Waste of space

What’s the point of this app if it sends me to the website all the time to check tracking progress?
