## USPS Mobile® Description
Access popular USPS.com® tools on the go with the “USPS Mobile® app: calculate shipping prices (limitations apply), find a Post Office™, look up a ZIP Code™, schedule a next-day pickup, request USPS to hold your mail, access Informed Delivery® to track packages and digitally preview incoming mail, and more.

WHAT CAN IT DO?

The USPS Mobile app allows you to:

•	Check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services.  Nickname your shipments and sign up for text and email alerts to notify you of the delivery status.
 
•	Calculate a Domestic or International Price to determine how much postage you will need when you ship a letter, card, large envelope, or package (limitations apply). Choose retail or online pricing, add any extra services you need, and view the total, too.

•	Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions. 

•	Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. or Canadian address.

•	Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery. 

•	Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ for you to pick up or be delivered by your carrier when you return.

•	Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your device’s camera (Note: this function is not available on iPad 1 and iPod Touch models without rear-facing cameras). The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of delivery status.

Link to Informed Delivery to track packages and digitally preview your household’s incoming mail arriving soon; view grayscale images of the exterior, address side of letter-sized mailpieces.

Have used this USPS tracker for the longest time. Was always great to use as it enabled the user to rename the tracking number which is perfect for online sellers like me. It meant I could rename a tracking number into a customers name and track it from start to finish. A few weeks ago the renaming feature was disabled and the tracking was disabled too - click the anonymous tracking number now and the App just redirects you to the main USPS website which is useless and I’m left looking at a bunch of unnamed tracking numbers.

I sent my parcel from the UK on 1/03/2021 and it has never been delivered.
The status on your website has said the same thing ever since. 
There seems to be way to raise concerns. 
I have sent 4 parcels since this and all have been delivered. 
This was for my Granddaughters birthday so not impressed!

Cliff Klavern, makes an excellent point. I’ll have to side with him – although, over emotional, he’s right.

I’m in Indonesia. My first fundamental important parcel otw to Portland, Or.; I want to keep a close eye on it. On the Indonesia side of tracking (although, surely, it could be a lot more colorful), we get a step-by-step system-of-tracking at ems.posindonesia.co.id (and, if I pick up on the abbreviations/acronyms and postal lingo, the information would come to life): several stops and days in Indonesia; then, Singapore; Hong Kong; and, now, in the States, somewhere.

Where? One’d think, once the parcel got within the borders of its destination, the tracking would light up: ding-ding-ding-ding-ding 🛎! But, nooooo, your developers are sleeping (sound, I hope): inhale, snore; exhale, snore whistle...

I downloaded the app with much too much optimism and expectation... 🤣

Anywho, if my form hasn’t arrived, yet. It’ll get there, I imagine, definitely, within a fortnight from today.

Hallo? McFly!? There’s a can of whoopass, if you don’t get your behind in gear... 🥳🤣

Before discovering how useless this app is, to me, USPS is #01! Who and where else can one achieve a level of information such that one gets on the zip code page? When I can make the delivery of my parcels – letters and packages – that much easier for all you guys in the postal service industry, I’m a happy camper!

First off the tracking info is absolutely useless it's not a tracker at all and is rarely updated if your lucky enough to get that much but I have had no such luck. You only seem to cater for your fellow countrymen and no one overseas can get the updates on where our item is. Having an app is supposed to make life easier but when it’s not showing the correct info it’s pointless and just a waste of space/memory - the website at least shows the correct information. This was an ok app a few years back when it had a list of items I’d got and all had the correct information that mirrors what your website says - this doesn’t seem to go past the label created update. I should delete it as I keep opening it by accident only to get more disinformation. Seems like half of you guys love that - the losing half! Cliff Klavern
