How does UTA On Demand work?

Using the UTA On Demand app, input your address and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way. Great for parents needing help with teens!

Bring back buses to Daybreak/South Jordan

Update 05/2024: Same bad experiences. Service can be really terrible as I booked a driver at least 30 mins in advance and they came that late to the point I just left on foot to catch my train. The app didn’t allow me to cancel the ride either. The drivers are almost always late and drop off times are not accurate. I had a driver pick me up then go pick up her daughter from school making me almost miss my doctors appointment. Neither the app or the driver informed me of this detour. You want to book your ride an hour before just to be safe and expect to wait a long time to be picked up. I had a driver take an hour on a 20 min pick up estimate as I saw him drive around the map even stopping someplace for quiet awhile. I really miss the buses because they were reliable and on time. The drivers were always kind and helpful. I could get to the places I needed to be in a safe and timely matter.

Unreliable. Glitchy service.

I’ve tried to to rely on and plan my commute using this app. Regularly overwhelmed and unable to find drivers. This leaves me 3/4 of my way to my destination after getting off frontrunner.

Worst service ever

Some of the drivers I had were very rude and when they take you to the dead end by the SLCC campus in Herriman as well as by the RSL soccer academy, they’ll say “I can do it.” In a snarky tone of voice and even when I tried to book a ride to work, they’ll say that they’re experiencing very high demand due to not have enough seats for every van. I trust Lyft and Uber more than UTA on demand and I hope this service better improve it or else I won’t be able to use it at all

No pickup and drop off time

I don’t know if it’s just my app but it’s sometimes taking away the ability to see eta for the drivers picking me up and me getting to my destination while I’m in route. I’ve restarted the app redownloaded and it’s still a problem. Drivers shouldn’t be allowed to have their phones out for personal use I tried to call my driver and he up me to voicemail when I finally got in he was on the phone talking to a friend. So he declined my call :-/

Frontrunner Schedule

This app doesn’t show any of the frontrunner schedules or bus schedules if you’re not in Salt Lake. I don’t understand why not. That seems like a pretty easy fix. Especially because the train schedule is the same every day. It would just be nice to track on the app when I need to travel into SLC from Provo rather than hoping and praying that it works

Can’t turn off marketing notifications

This app just keeps sending notifications like “Ride UTA today!” (Paraphrasing) and there’s no way to turn those off without turning off all notifications. Uninstalling.

App is terrible

Every where I want to go is out of zone

Horrible app

Tried using multiple times. If you develop an app, at least include a map of the system for goodness sakes. There’s no way I could find how to use TRAX. What’s the point of having an app if it’s not integrated with TRAX.
