Description

UTS is an Indian Railways official iOS mobile ticketing application which allows the daily train travellers to book unreserved tickets of Indian Railways using their Smartphone. The application is designed in such a way that it is easy to use and has user friendly interface with features like book ticket, cancel ticket, maintain their profile, manage frequent travel routes , etc.The passenger will use Railway wallet to book the ticket.
There are two modes for booking Tickets : (i) Paper (ii) Paperless. In case of paper ticket user has to take a printout from kiosk/counter at concerned station. Whereas in case of Paperless ticket user's Location will be captured to determine he/she is present in valid ticketing area. In this mode no printout is required and the user can directly show his ticket from his smartphone to the TTE. Moreover an alternative to location check has also been introduced in limited stations where a user can scan a unique barcode present at station premises to book his paperless ticket.

Password changing is a nightmare.

While entering new password and re entering there is not message about what characters and length is excepted. It took me 15 mins to come up with a password which was weak.

No booking inside the station is allowed

Many are travelling without ticket and it’s Better to alllow booking inside station.

Platform Ticket issue

On most of the ios device it cannot book platformticket as everytime location services shows diffrent distances for booking ticket. Pathetic

Payment deducted from UPI

No ticket recieved on UTS after deduction of money

Not able to change class while booking tickets from South Mumbai

The train type is blank whenever I try to book a ticket from South Mumbai towards suburbs (I travel from Andheri to Lower Parel everyday and if I try to book a ticket from Lower Parel then the train type is blank). Because of this I’m not able to change the class to First or select an AC train and I have to go to a kiosk every time. Please look into this.
