VACU Cards

This is the dumbest idea I have seen for a banking app. The point of having an app is for it to be convenient. To have an entire separate app to manage you credit card from all other transactions makes absolutely no sense. The ridiculousness of thinking this made any sense let’s me further regret starting an account with VACU. Navy Federal would never.

I don’t mind the additional app especially since I can get to it from my regular app or access it by itself. The fact I can do all of my debit and credit card needs here is great.

Worst app ever. Hard to navigate. Can’t access my rewards points either. It was so easy in the main app. I hope they get rid of this.

I keep my debit card locked and unlock when need to use. When I go to re-lock the card after use, it will already say locked. If I manage cards on the website, it properly shows unlocked and I re-lock from there. Has done this since the app was first available.

I hate this app. Every time I go to log in I have to call, delete, or change my password. The app never seems to recognize my log information and refuses to allow me to enroll again. When I try to access and add a new card online, I can’t! It was completely unnecessary from a customers perspective and such a hassle. This is a horrible customer experience. Virginia credit union, please close this and add it back to the one app. You are not a Fin-Tech company, and this takes away from the small bank experience. I wish I could give this app 0 stars!

I have to agree with the others who have stated this was not needed. Wouldn’t it have been more efficient and easier for the users if they had revised the old app to reflect the features in this app. I had no idea there was a new app to manage the credit cards. When I went online to make sure that the balance had been paid, I was redirected to the new app. So then I had to take the time to register the card that had already been registered on the VACU app. If they simply had to do this (although we all wonder why), it would have been better to already have the information linked. I’ve always thought the VACU website and app could have been a lot better but adding another app wasn’t a way to do it.

VACU has too much time on there hands for them to want to generate a completely different app. They could’ve at least linked it to the other app like why do I have to create another account to get into the same banking information. Is it not the same bank? It’s ridiculous. Like I said, they have too much time. Just wasting money. They should’ve did a poll to it’s MEMBERS before launching this

Just as the previous user stated, this app is difficult to use. The prior app made it very convenient to advise the bank you were out of town or anything. Now they want you to download a separate app that never works. Come on now, you all supposed to be different than banks. However I can have all functionalities anywhere anytime with my other institutes.

Make only 1 app. There is no point to have 2 apps for one bank when the main app already had this function. It’s shady and I don’t trust putting any info into this app

What’s the point of having to ask for the same bank account? Why should I have to download another app just to access my cards? This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Please put things back the way they were so that I can access this feature on the regular bank app. This is really stupid and annoying.
