Failed Business Practices

The employee at my local Valero having a grand opening watched me start pumping my gas after walking all around me and vehicle. After I finished paying, she interrupts me leaving to tell me about saving money with this app. The app refused to let me add my debit card and give me any discounts. I am now officially boycotting all Valeros will seek fuel at any other establishment. A broken app, a broken promise of discounted gas, and poor customer service. I hope you have a better experience then me, but highly unlikely.

App is not updating correctly

Today, there is supposed to be a coupon for $.20 off per gallon. It is 6:30 AM Eastern standard time and I’ve been waiting to fill up my car with gas for today since it was $.20 off a gallon. The app is not allowing for that coupon yet. Very frustrating.

I gave this app three stars for a few reasons…

First reason, it is almost impossible to get a hold of someone for customer service. Till this day I still haven’t been able to reach anyone. Secondly, when or where can you find when or how along with where to send a payment for your bill? Third reason, was where the muff are any stations around me? I have to drive 15 minutes into a whole other city to fuel up. With gas prices rising, I don’t know how I am going to continue to live like this. This just made it that much more difficult. Seriously. 😕

Faulty Card Processing

I’d rather not use my debit card. That’s why I made my payment method on a credit card. When authorizing payment on said credit card, your system was unable to authorize payment forcing me to add a “new payment method” at the pump? For the record there should’ve been zero question on my credit card. Thus my 2 star rating.
