## Vantrue Reviews in United States

### ****- "App, device syncing and recording issues resolved"
Jan 2025 update. The app update has prevented me from accessing cam. Error message that this device does not support connecting to WiFi 😕. I’m doing nothing different from prev. I’m going to delete and try reinstalling app*******Jan 20,2024 update: contact with customer service explained that cigarette lighter charger does not support park mode while ignition is off. One must purchase the OBD 2 power cord to ensure your camera’s surveillance is activated while ignition is off. Cable was ordered and tested. 4 out 5 stars*******Jan 14, 2024: Today I went out to get into my car only to find front driver damage. My car was hit while parked at 4 in the morning. The cam DID NOT pick up the incident, despite the g sensor setting set to 5 and park mode was set for collision at high. There is no incident in the local or sd drive of the camera. The camera is only recording while in driving mode and this failure to do as it should just cost me. Such a waste. *********** Oct 2023 I’ve had the cam installed for a week now and to often I have to reset the actual cam in order for it to sync with the app in order for me to view, save or do anything with the videos. I follow the on screen instructions to ensure I’m connected to device WiFi but the WiFi does not appear in available WiFi names. Once I do get the app and device to connect, the videos are crisp and clear. I just wished this app would work accordingly. ********

### *---- "WiFi Connection"
This is a terrible app. I follow the instructions just as the app says. All I get is WiFi is not compatible with device. The app helpline is useless. GO ANOTHER WAY
-- Not your business99, 2025-01-11

### *---- "Latest software update makes dashcam useless"
Can’t download crucial footage with the app because your latest update renders the connectivity unusable. Fix ASAP or I will NOT purchase one of your cameras again.
-- Disgruntled/Unappreciated, 2025-01-09

### *---- "FIX NEW UPDATE"
After update 1.0.35 I cannot view and download any videos using the app
-- JNgu21, 2025-01-08

### *---- "Unable to watch or download video"
Need to be fixed asap
-- Cartv12345, 2025-01-08

### *---- "Terrible!!!!"
Terrible update! I can’t see any video! Nothing will load and I can’t download either! Needs to be fixed!!
-- Karla_G190, 2025-01-06

### *---- "E360"
Cannot watch the clips on app
-- Jamesngx, 2025-01-06

### ****- "It works just fine"
The app works fine - not sure what the big complaints are. iPhone 15 with a Nexus 4 Pro and Element 2 - no issues. Only complaints are that it’s kind of slow moving between screens and the settings menu could provide more clarity what the settings mean (e.g. is 1 less sensitive and 5 more sensitive?). I’d also like to not have to reset all settings every firmware update, but still love the dash cams and the fact that I can access everything via the app.

### *---- "Where is the dark mode?"
Where is the dark mode?
-- Walter Bai, 2025-01-02

### *---- "Useless support, terrible app"
After much headache, you can connect to camera. I have the Nexus 5, which btw does not come with a sd card slot, so this app is your only recourse. And you can’t send pics/vids anywhere else, so good luck if an accident happens. Your best option would be screen record, and then your sound is gone. Unbelievably bad. I guarantee you that support is useless. They either don’t understand or simply ignore what you say and send you generic blanket instructions.
