Vegan Maps - Mapas Veganos

I can’t tell if this app is still supported; the last update was at least 2 years ago and there are vegan restaurants listed that are definitely closed. I am adding this to any reviews I know of- but I hope it get updated and continues to grow.

My husband & I really enjoyed these vegan foods. I wish that this restaurant would start one in CA.

Can’t reset map to current location. Needs major improvements

The bar for this app to present a restaurant as having vegan options is very low. If the restaurant has 50 items on its menu but includes avocado toast as the only option for a vegan, it qualifies. That’s a pretty low bar. The restaurant reviews also include many, sometimes exclusively, reviews of meat dishes by meat eaters which skews the restaurant’s overall rating as “excellent” when maybe the only vegan option is salad hold the cheese. Combined, these two flaws make it really challenging to sort through dozens of restaurant listings to find one that has actual options for a vegan meal.

No restaurants down here. Update: there were no restaurants listed at all in any direction at any distance. Nothing at all. Empty.

Some of the restaurants on here are not open. I think I am in an area with almost no vegan or vegetarian options. First, I was directed to a restaurant that had not started serving food yet. Then, I went to a restaurant that said it was open, but when I arrive, it was not open.

A friend and I just enjoyed a great meal with great service and atmosphere at the silver diner and though my friend isn’t vegan like me she dose have food allergies and we are both very particular about what we like, and it checked all our boxes in all the right ways can’t wait to go back love the home made vegan plant based milkshake and been burgers a definite must go great for everyone
