Vehicle Care by Assurant

The setup failed when entering my Zip code. I have no idea why.

I would stay clear of buying an extended warranty from this company. The contract is sold as peace of mind in case something should go wrong, but when something DOES happen to go wrong, they will look for any excuse to deny your claim. “Mechanical problems” are not actually covered- random PARTS are, so if your engine malfunctions, say smoke starts to pour out of it, unless a specific *part* has broken, they will deny your claim. A reasonable interpretation of “mechanical issues are covered” would be that if your engine is pouring smoke, there’s something wrong. Assurant says, “No. Only *sometimes*.” I am getting a refund on the remainder of my contract and if I can convince even one person to think twice abt dealing with this company, I will be satisfied.

I haven’t been able to long into vehiclecareplan.com for a week now. I’ve called all the numbers I’ve emailed csauto@assurant or whatever I’ve called about 5 times a day just to get the run around because everything is ran by an entire different company nobody has to take responsibility for anything. And that’s just with the website, So I download this app and when and when I up look up my extended warranty to add to my account, I enter my zip code to verify and it just goes back to the previous page. So no Information is available on my account while I current have a claim to replace my entire car engine just got approved and I do not have access to any information, Ive been reading the California bureau of automotive repair and the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act so I’ll be deciding how I’m going to move forward soon. If only someone was able to help me, you’ll hear from us soon Assurant
