Voice interface is a must for home automation. I’m looking into ditching Z Wave and moving to Matter devices. Biggest downfall is that when my Vera Secure controller loses connectivity (which it does regularly) the app acts like it is showing current data from the controller, but in reality it is not. The support is great. All but two devices converted. It appears the current version of the app does not handle all the functionality of the Ezlo plus. Geofence is not even in the menus even though I get notices on my phone that Ezlo is using my location. Alerts don’t seem to work. Connectivity to Google Home doesn’t work. The documentation out there doesn’t match the menus in this app. To set notifications I had to go to the website and set them there. I have been told a new app is in development. I have about 30 devices working now. The dashboard design is great. Hope that doesn’t change. Waiting patiently. I purchased a thermostat from Vera and have tried to set up scenes unsuccessfully. The support team has been working on it for over two weeks and I haven’t heard from them in over a week. Wish I would have never upgraded to Ezlo. Update. After four months, 114 emails and one conference call it appears the app doesn’t work on the thermostat with iOS. Not verified yet. If they don’t fix these problems soon I want my $400.00 back. Next step is BBB. Oh and I can’t seem to post a review here.
