## Verbex Description
The protocol says what should happen. Verbex records what actually happened.

Verbex is a private lab notebook for bench scientists. Capture procedures, materials, deviations, observations, and results using voice notes, typed notes, timers, and images while working at the bench.

Every capture is timestamped and saved under the experiment section you choose. When you are ready, Verbex organizes your notes into a source-backed ELN-style draft that you can review, edit, complete, and export.

Transcription, image text extraction, and draft generation happen on your iPhone. No account, cloud storage, analytics, or tracking.

WHY VERBEX?

CAPTURE WHILE YOU WORK
Speak a note, type a quick update, start a timer, or attach an image without leaving your experiment.

DOCUMENT WHAT CHANGED
Protocols describe the plan. Verbex helps you capture the adjustments, deviations, and observations that reflect what actually happened at the bench.

RECORD OBSERVATIONS AS THEY HAPPEN
Each note preserves its capture time, helping your notebook reflect when the work and observations occurred.

YOU CONTROL THE STRUCTURE
Choose Objective, Materials, Procedure, Observations, Conclusion, or a custom section before adding a note. Verbex organizes your captures without deciding their scientific meaning.

TURN MATERIAL LABELS INTO STRUCTURED ENTRIES
Add one or more material-label images. Verbex can extract supported label details on-device and organize them into a structured Materials table for your review.

REVIEW BEFORE COMPLETION
Review the original timestamped notes and edit the organized draft and image captions before completing the experiment record.

REVISIT YOUR COMPLETED RECORD
For newly completed experiments, open Record details to see the saved notes, images, captions, and history behind your reviewed record.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your experiment notes and images stay on your iPhone unless you choose to export or share them. No experiment content is sent to cloud AI services.
