Vermillion Watch: Moorgate Accord Collectors Edition for iPad

The game admittedly is five years old but is still for sale on the Big Fish site and shouldn't be. It was fine until I got to Chapter 5. Pretty sad Guide for this game after that. At least two parts of the actual game do not appear in the Guide at all, so at one point if you can't solve the puzzles presented, tough luck. You're stranded with no way out of that section of the game. I resent paying for a Collectors Edition game that I can't even play to the end, despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot. You'd think this would have been corrected sometime in the last five years, but you would be wrong. Don't waste your money (at least on the iPad version).

Kinda boring

Graphics are great, love the story line but there’s not a lot to do. If I want to watch a movie I’d do it on my tv.

Beautiful graphics.

Although it's two years old, I've enjoyed playing this game. Too bad you didn't credit the violinist who played they Bruch violin concerto in the Emporium scene.

Beautiful

Just finished...beautiful graphics, very good story and games that were both challenging & easy, loved it, well worth purchasing.

Very good

This game has some very interesting puzzles which are new and challenging. I liked that. I only played the free selection but I was impressed by it. I DIDN'T like all the cutscenes, though. Too much talk. And I didn't have any map in the free section. Will it provide one later? If you skip a game, it will show you the steps you needed to take to complete the puzzle. I like that, too. It doesn't just show you the completed puzzle, like some games do. I was impressed, though not impressed enough to spend $6.99 on it. It seems I missed the introductory price. Update: I started to play it, again, and hated it! It was WAY too dark to see anything. The first HO scene I completed accidentally when using the pinch screen to make it easier to identify things. I kept hitting items I didn’t even see! I got to the house, opened the wall and decided to forget buying this one. Why they decided to make things so dark is beyond me. And, I can’t believe I liked this the first time through!

Not the best or worst

My knee-jerk reaction was to give this 3 stars. Some promising puzzles were unplayable, and the latter half of the storyline was a jumbled mess so that the next step was never clear. But, the graphics, voice acting and complex HOPs were first-rate. I also enjoyed the incorporation of elements from Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Thus, I am rounding up my score of 3.5. I may actually play again and focus on getting the many collectibles (including the "souvenirs" available at the very end).

Good but

I love the watch series but they don't take the best to mobile screens needs some tweaking like zooming in and finding an object doesn't automatically zoom you out

Great graphics, non intuitive gameplay

Graphics were superb, and it tried to be clever...a bit too clever, I thought. This led to some pretty silly puzzle interactions, even for this genre.
