So I am currently using another program, but somebody told me that this one(Grok) might be better for what I was looking to do. It has a three day free trial and then it’s $49.99 a month which is a little bit cheaper than the other program that I’m currently using. I thought I would try the three day free program and if this would be sufficient for my needs, I would go ahead and just pay and continue to use the app. I get to Apple Pay and I double click. The screen tells me that there is no charge three days free and then 49.99 billed monthly after three days. My credit card that I have on my Apple account is locked, but this company tried to put through a 31.98 charge which I think is sketchy AF! If you haven’t even already signed up and they’re already trying to screw you that is not a good sign.(besides I believe it’s against Apple’s terms.)

Terrible experience overall. The product is seriously overhyped and clearly not ready for prime time. Both the app and website are unstable, and customer support is practically nonexistent. They make big promises but fail to deliver.

I tried to cancel before the trial ended, but the cancel button repeatedly shows “failed to cancel,” which makes it feel like you’re trapped. I contacted support three days ago and still haven’t received a response. At this point, it seems likely I’ll be charged anyway. Since I can’t get any help from them, I’ll have to contact my bank to report this. I would not recommend this service.
