## Video Playlist Manager Description
Video Playlist Manager for iPad, iPhone and iPod is a professionally designed, stand-alone video playback system for creating and editing multiple playlists directly on your iOS device. Playlists play in a continuous loop, and can be optionally password protected.

Clear controls for starting & stopping playback, skipping forward and back in a playlist, along with fullscreen support and the iPad’s famously long battery-life, combine to make this app part of an ideal solution for creating elegant, self-contained video displays at trade shows and other events. Simply prop up the iPad, hit play, and walk away.

VPM is a powerful advertising tool for professionals in many situations, including:

• as a self-contained display at a trade show or conference

• realtors can have a video playlist of their available homes playing on the welcome table, in their office or at an open house

• artists can display a video playlist of their work at a gallery, looping indefinitely

Unique branding features:

You can feature your logo floating in front of the video at whatever size and location you wish. Similarly, you can choose to display your logo or any other image in between each video.

Playback and management are easy and intuitive:

By default, videos are played in a continuous loop, and may be paused and restarted at any time. Clips may also be rearranged on the fly, with chosen videos skipped or played.   Finally, you may also organize different groups of clips into separate playlists and save them independently.

Password protection:

You may assign a password to prevent the editing of an existing playlist, or even to prevent the launching of the app at all by an unauthorized person.

Kiosk mode:

VPM offers an optional Kiosk presentation mode that sports a simplified UI that hides most management controls.

External displays:

VPM doesn't just support external displays; it also offers overscan controls to match the video output of most displays and projectors.

NOTE: this is not an app to organize existing movies in your iTunes library - Apple does not currently allow access to these files by third parties.

## Video Playlist Manager Reviews in United States

### ***** "Great app!"
I use it every weekend for live performances. Simple and easy to use! Straight forward which is why I like it. My only problem that I have is that I used to be able to transfer playlists from my main iPhone to my backup iPhone, and now it won’t work anymore, which I miss. Hopefully an update can fix this. Thanks!
-- Psdyb, 2022-03-29

### ***** "Simple, Brilliant Video Playback Solution"
Currently using this for video playback at live events. An iPad 2 with iOS 9.3 is connected to over HDMI to HDBaseT splitter. Solid, elegant playback solution.

Importing media's simple. Copy your video clips to the app sharing folder, make your playlists, connect to an external display, and boom! Video broadcast to all.

Developers are super-responsive to feedback. Can't recommend enough.

### *---- "Worthless For ITunes"
Does NOT allow you to do anything with ITunes music videos, only something you make yourself. Wasted purchase. There should be a negative star rating -5.
-- CJ_5219, 2015-04-18

### ***-- "Limited interface controls"
Once one creates a playlist of videos, there's not enough control over what appears on the screen to a user. Ideally one should be able to hide the buttons for everything but the playing of the video clips behind the lock icon. The barrel of video clips is cute, but why not let me decide from several interfaces and if there's only one video, let control that situation more simply, too.
-- RTchoke, 2015-01-13

### ***-- "Very good, but..."
App does everything it says. Very intuitive and friendly with Dropbox. My only complaint is the black space between the clips. It fades to black whether you are looping a single clip, or playing several clips in a playlist. An option to disable the fade would be nice. Then it would get 5 stars from me. Otherwise a very fine app.
-- SteelCub85, 2013-01-16

### **--- "Not what I expected"
It flips through videos without completing them. The volume control is not fluid. The next and previous buttons don't work.

This is at best a $3 app. I don't mind basic if it works and is reasonably priced.
-- MoxieMoto, 2012-10-01

### ***-- "Not bad"
Is ok
-- Pedro Morales, 2012-04-10

### ***-- "Really?"
I was hoping this app would be the solution to my iPad Video Playlist woes. It ain't. Though, yes, it is possible to edit and organize the playlist from within the app on iPad, when iPad syncs with iTunes, those changes are lost and the videos in the app are once again arranged alphabetically/numerically. This is very disappointing. How difficult is it to solve this problem? Where is the 10-year-old with a few extra hours who can design an app, charge $4.99 for it, and make us Video Playlist hopefuls happy? Where are you?
